Bids Are Invited For Custom Bid for Services - OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE Of Astp Ars And Neutra - OPERATION & MAINTENANCE OF ASTP, ARS & NEUTRA SCOPE OF WORK Annexure-1 Treatment of effluent water in ASTP/NEUTRA, Maintenance of mechanical and electrical equipments, Running of Acid Recovery System (ARS), cleaning of the tanks/ channels/ filters, floor etc as directed by the site-in-charge/OA from time to time. 1. ASTP/NEUTRA OPERATION: Treatment of Acidic and Neolyte rinse water at ASTP/NEUTRA. Preparation of Hydrated lime for the neutralization of Waste Mixed Acid (WMA) & Acid Rinse Water (ARW) • Removal of undissolved sediments arising from preparation of Hydrated lime. Unloading of sediment from filter press. Clear/treated water from ASTP will be collected in sump pit. Pumping of water to DFT shift wise regularly. Neutralization of waste acids like HNO3, mixed acid (HNO3+HF) rejected from AP Lines. Separation of sediment salts in the form of sludge through Filter Press. Dried cakes (sludge) are to be sent to secured lined pit. Clear water from ASTP to be pumped to DFT plant for fluoride reduction. • Operation and maintenance of dewatering pump which is near ASTP. Disposal of used lime bags from Neutra & ARS. MECHANICAL: • Pumps gland fixing & leakage arresting. . Choke clearing for rinsing purpose in dosing pumps and filter press line. All agitator maintenance & repair. Pump changing. • Arresting of Acid / water line leakages and repairing work. 2. ARS: OPERATION: Re-generation of mixed acid from WMA (Waste Mixed Acid). Preparation of urea solution. • Cleaning of HNO, stick while ARS running. Collection and disposal of metal oxide generated from ARS. MECHANICAL: Maintenance of pumps & motors. General maintenance like flange leakage arresting, flange changing etc. Concept: Maintaining metal oxide concentration in acid bath for processing in APL-3. Re- generation of acid from rejected acid for further usage. System: Mixed acid with metal content (such as Iron, Chromium, Nickel and Fluoride etc.) is sprayed in a lined furnace called reactor at a temp. of 310° C. The metal oxide is removed below the furnace chamber. Acid fumes sucked through the condensing column. Then the fumes condensate into acids again. This condensate acid is stored and reused in APL-3 for continuous processing. Escaped fumes are treated with urea solution and converted into N₂ & O₂ instead of NO & NO, etc. Production Rate of ARS is 1.80 to 3.50 m³/hr. Job: While processing of SS coils in pickling section of APL-3, waste acid is generated. It is processed for acid regeneration in ARS. At the end of the process metal oxide powder is generated. The metal oxide powder is collected in bags of 1 ton capacity approximately Around 60 to 80 bags are collected in a month and it is stored outside of ARS area. As this is available in powder form, it flies in to the electrical control rooms & spoils the electrical control panels apart from polluting the area nearby. These bags are to be shifted to designated location using suitable vehicles like fork lift, trucks, pay loader, Tipper etc: In addition the cleaning jobs are to be carried out in ARS roaster area, ARS roaster top platform, Nozzle cleaning in ARS, Metal oxide collection, Sodium Sulphate addition etc. Total Quantity :
