Bids Are Invited For Custom Bid for Services - 400050418 OnM of Construction Power Work Of Tanda Stageii - 10.10: Construction power 24x7 operation & maintenance: Scope: The scope of work shall include manning for Operation of Construction power on 24 Hour basis in 2 shifts, Preventive maintenance of LM, PSS, HT & LT line, Emergency breakdown maintenance of line & PSS, Erection & Dismantling of pole and other miscellaneous work at NTPC Tanda. The work shall be carried out as per the direction of EIC. The scope of work shall also include maintaining construction power supply on 24Hr basis, attending breakdowns, providing power supply, temporary lighting as and when required as per direction of EIC. 1. Manpower deployment: a. General shift: 01 Store keeper, 01 Electrician/ Linemen & 01 helper. b. Each shift(morning, evening) : 01Electrician/ Linemen + 01 helper (morning, evening ) If vender will not provide the stipulated manpower, payment will be deducted @1.25 times on pro data basis. 2. Scope includes changeover of supply, isolation of faulty section of line, jumpering & disconnection of line section, replacement of fuse of 11KV line, PSS operation. 3. Switching of Capacitor bank in PSS as per requirement for PF correction and any other work as per direction of EIC. 4. Manpower shall be able to climb on rail pole / STP and familiar with line and substation. 5. Preventive/ Breakdown Maintenance of LM (as per instruction of EIC) • Preventive maintenance of lighting mast includes replacement defective part, cleaning, tightness healthiness checking of the lighting mast & all accessories. • Breakdown maintenance includes fault finding of the lighting mast and replacement of defective parts to make the mast ready for operation. 6. Preventive/ Breakdown Maintenance of PSS (as per instruction of EIC) • Preventive maintenance of PSS include cleaning, checking of tightness of cable , bus bar joint, operation of breaker, LBS, Transformer bushing, OTI & WTI alarm & Trip, LT panel, capacitor bank & all accessories. • Breakdown maintenance includes fault finding of the PSS and replacement of defective components to make PSS operational. Spares if required shall be provided by NTPC. 7. Maintenance of 11KV Line • Inspection Of 11kv, 3 Phase Transmission Line • Checking Of Pin / Disc Insulators • Checking Of Conductor Jumper • Replacement Of Line Components If Required • Jointing Of Conductors Is To Be Done As Per Requirement. • Any Obstruction On The Transmission Line Like Trees, Saplings Are To Be Removed. • Tightness Checking Of Cable End Termination & Conductor Joint. • Maintenance of V bracket, support structure is to be carried out by vender. • Maintenance of cradle guard. 8. Maintenance of Light Fitting • Switching & preventive maintenance includes cleaning, tightness checking and healthiness of the all type light fittings. • Breakdown maintenance includes fault finding of light fittings and replacement of defective components (If any) to make the fitting ready. 9. Fixing of Light fitting • Light fittings normally 2X400W / 250 W / 150 W SON lamp fittings (streetlight / high bay) (with lamp & all accessories) or 1000 W Halogen. The party is to assemble light fittings as per direction of the EIC. • Light fitting is to be fixed on various types of structures as directed by the EIC • For fixing of fitting all consumables like welding electrodes, screws, nuts & bolts, clamps, PVC tape, wire joining ferrules etc are to be supplied by the party. Only MS angles / Channels will be supplied by NTPC. • For extension of power supply party has to lay wires / cables from nearest source, join wires & cables up to the light fittings. Light fittings and cables will be supplied by NTPC • Light fitting is to be checked for healthiness. • Loading at NTPC stores, unloading at site & transportation of light fittings up to site will be in the scope of the party. 10. Any other work is in scope of work which not specified but required for 11KV network as per EIC. 20.10 Extra manpower(USW) for Misc.work in 24x7 Construction power Provision for extra manpower has been kept to seek manpower from agency during any special assignment like cable laying, stringing of over head conductor, shifting of PSS, dismantling and re-erection of lighting mast etc in case of urgency and other activities not covered in BOQ. DSR items: 30.10: Erection of steel tubular or rail pole strut in cement concrete 1:3:6 (1 cement : 3 coarse sand : 6 graded stone aggregate 40 mm nominal size ) foundation. 30.20: Dismantling of pole/ street light standard/ strut embedded in cement concrete foundation etc. as required. 30.30: Erection of stay set complete (galvanised) in cement concrete 1:3:6 (1 cement : 3 coarse sand : 6 graded stone aggregate 40 mm nominal size ) foundation including excavation and refilling etc. as required. 30.40: Earthing with G.I. earth pipe 4.5 metre long, 40 mm dia including accessories, and providing masonry enclosure with cover plate having locking arrangement and watering pipe etc. with charcoal/ coke and salt as required 30.50: Providing and fixing 25 mm X 5 mm G.I. strip on surface or in recess for connections etc. as required. NON DSR items: 40.10 Erection of H.T Straight thru/End termination jointing kit. • Cable straight through jointing/End termination is to be done. One quantity consists of joint / termination of all three phases for the case of three core cable where as single core cable jointing will be treated as one joint per single core cable. • LT Cable straight through jointing kit will be in the scope of vender. • Consumables and tools & tackles will be in the scope of supply of the vendor.(the termination kits would be provided by NTPC). • While vendor has to take adequate precautions so that the cable is not damaged. Before and after joining/ end termination IR valve to be measured, IR value is to be adequate before charging. Jobs required for improvement of IR value is to carry out by vender. Total Quantity :
