Sluice valves / washout valves along the alignment of the rising mian and distribution main / pipe line at different places within the command area as and when required for regulating the supply of water and distribution water all over the command area smoothly by removing the R.C.C. cover slab of sluice valve chamber / washout chamber (if required) and refixing the same true to position, routine inspection to the rising main / distribution system and reporting to the local departmental officer including mending good damaged through very minor repairing [e.g. tigthening of nuts & bolts, only culking of lead joints, cleaning of head work site etc. as and when required ] as per satisfaction of the EIC including hire charges of tools & plants in two shift. One operator per shift for each headwork site. NB.:- Daily rate to each labour will have to be paid by the agency not less that Rs. 421.00 (Rupees four hundred and four) only per day and 8.33% bonous + 10% contractors profit +5% overhead expenses + ESI+EPF). 7 Hire Charges of JCB for removing of demolished waste including concrete, bricks, rubbish etc from canal bed 8 Bailing out water by pump including all leads lifts and including making all arrangements for disposal where conforming flow or seepage of water is encountered . Rating of pumps and hours of operation is specifically assertained as per direction of Engineer In Charge. 9 Supply of Cast Iron(C.I.) Mechanical Joint (fittings) for laying C.I./D.I./M.S. /G.I. pipes in different diaCollar Coupling 10 i) 1000 mm dia Pipe 11 Hire and labour charges for shoring work (including necessary close plank walling, framing, Eucalyptus/Jhou bulla piling, strutting etc) complete as per direction of the Engineer-in-charge for foundation excavation (vertical surface are in contact with supported earth is to be measured.) (This item should be executed on specific direction of the Enginner in charge). 12 (a) Depth upto 1.5 m. 13 (b) For additional depth beyond 1.5 m. and upto 3.00 m 14 Hiring Charges for lifting machine (Hydra) 15 (A) Filling in foundation or plinth by silver sand in layers not exceeding 150 mm as directed and consolidating the same by thorough saturation with water, ramming complete including the cost of supply of sand. (payment to be made on measurement of finished quantity) 16 Supplying and laying brick Khoa of ordinary bats of size (38 mmx 63 mm)of approved quality in 100 mm layer (loose) filling in gaps with small ones rammed and compact as directed true to level and grade. 17 Earth work in excavation of foundation trenches or drains, in all sorts of soil (including mixed soil but excluding laterite or sandstone) including removing, spreading or stacking the spoils within a lead of 75 m. as directed. The item includes necessary trimming the sides of trenches, levelling, dressing and ramming the bottom, bailing out water as required complete. 18 (a) Depth of excavation not exceeding 1,500 mm. 19 (b) Depth of excavation for additional depth beyond 1,500 mm. and upto 3,000 mm. but not requiring shoring. 20 Earth work in filling in foundation trenches or plinth with good earth, in layers not exceeding 150 mm. including watering and ramming etc. layer by layer complete. (Payment to be made on the basis of measurement of finished quantity of work) 21 (a) With earth obtained from excavation of foundation 22 Rubber Gasket for D.I. pipe (SBR) Qualtiy 23 i) 1000 mm dia Pipe 24 Chamfering the spigot end of all type/class of DI pipe for proper using of push joint by means of grinder set at site for proper joint etc. all complete as per direction of EIC. 25 i) 1000 mm dia Pipe 26 Making rubber gasket joints to C.I / D.I. Pipes maintaining proper alignment, level etc. by mechanical arrangement with or withoutusing mobile crane where necessary & with the help of all other equipment such as gantry girder, tools, tackle etc. as required, providing lubricants of approved quality and cleaning the grooves of pipe sockets all complete as per specification and direction of Engineer-In-Charge. (Rubber Gasket will be supplied Departmentally free of cost) using mobile crane 27 i) 1000 mm dia. Pipe 28 Provision for making payment towards labour wages in case of enhancement within the stipulated period of the said work to be in the following manner{[ enhancement of wages + 8.33% bonous + 10% contractors profit +5% overhead expenses + ESI+EPF.} 29 Any other necessary itemsas per prevailing current P.W.D. & P.H.E. approved Schedule of rates of Kolkata/24Pgs.(N&S) & latest modified corrigendum. 30 GST @18% on all the above items. 31 Labour Welfare Cess @1% on all the above items.
