Bids Are Invited For Fd Water Supply Scheme - The work consists of supply of stores for water supply scheme at op area as shown on specified below: - 2. Detailed scope of work is as under: - (a) CPVC Water Tubing & Fittings. CPVC pipes and fittings shall comply with IS15778, Specification for CPVC water tubing. The tubing shall be SDR 11 class 1 all as specified. All pipes and fittings shall be ISI marked (Make- Dutron, Astral. Finolex, Apollo), (a) General All pipes & fitting shall be all described in stores list of approved pattern and make, thickness and weight shall be conforming to relevant IS specification. (b) Cutting of pipes Cutting of pipes for inserting valves, unions, tees, other fixture etc, shall be done in a neat and workman like manner without damage to the pipe or lining so as to leave a smooth end at right angle to the axis of the pipe. The CPVC pipe shall be cut to the required length at the position where stop valves are required to be fitted either with sockets or by the flanged ends. (c) Pipe work in branch connection All joints in pipe work of pipe to appliances shall be made in such a manner as to be air-tight and water-tight and to remain as during use. Care shall be taken to ensure that no jointing material projects inside the bore of the pipe. (d) Tapping Mains Cutting of CPVC water mains raising pipe line 2” & 1” in existing position for branch connection including insertion of Tee or required size with the help of adhesive and thread. (e) Ball valve Ball valve shall confirm to ISI marked and as specified in Clause No 18, 19 of SSR Part-I and all as described. Weight shall not be less than as specified in SSR Part-I and all as described Weight shall not be less than as specified in SSR Part-I. (f) CPVC Fitting Tool kit for installation of CPVC fitting to be provided by the L1 vendor alongwith tech manpower. The tool kit should be handed over to the vendor on completyion of work. List OF BIS numbers are given below various items:- (a) CPVC pipes IS-15778. (b) Ball valves including floats IS – 1703-1977. 4. Water Tank with MS staging. HDPE water tank, ISI marked triple layer moulded cylindrical vertical water tank conforming to specifications IS-12701(1996) of any colour having cap of 500/ 1000 Ltrs with lid. Make of Water tank: Syntex/ Polycon. Staging 3.20m height made of angle iron 75x75x6mm complete as shown on drgs shall be provided. Foundation 300mmx300mmx750mm with PCC 1:2:4 (nominal mix) shall be provided over 1:3:6 100mm thick sub base as shown on Sketch ‘P’.
