Tender For Misc Repair Works For Pop Nov 2024 Under Age B/R-I And B/R-Ii At Ina Ezhimala; 1 Note:The following things need to be considered while quoting the rates:-1. Contractor need to do preparation and painting of kerb stone / crash barriers by mechanical methods only. 2. Contractor need to ensure the safety of labourer working at heights duly covered with accidental coverage insurance, providing proper PPE kit and adhere all safety norms. 3. Contractor need to remove all debris obtained from work without any delay to the dumping yards outside INA Ezhimala area.4. Contractor need to understand the importance of POP and should employ sufficient labourer to meet the requirements.5. Contractor should procure the entire quantity of paint as per CA in single purchase and all the buckets should be numbered and shown to Engg In Charge with in 20 days of acceptance. If there is any valid reason for delay in procurement, the reason shall be informed to Engg In Charge on time in writing.6. All the surfaces should be cleaned with water jet wash/ mechanical means before application of paint.All painting work will also be done through mechanical means.7. No electricity will be supplied by MES. Contractor should make own arrangements for transportation of water needed for washing, generator for electricity etc without any extra charge to the department.8. Contractor should ensure proper covering of areas adjacent to paiting with plastic sheets/ papers to avoid dripping marks of paint. Contractor should clean then and there if any painting drops/marks immediately before shifting to next place. Recovery of 25% of cost of painting will be made from contractor if proper cleaning is not done.9. During mechanical painting, contractor should take precautions to avoid splashing and spreading of paint and surroundings should be properly cleaned.10. Contractor should take necessary steps to provide soaking and washing off of freshly painted surfaces in case of rain circumstances. Washed out surfaces should be repainted without any extra cost to the department.11. The scope of work is to be carried out from ground level to nearly upto 45 metres of height. 12. Quoted rates are deemed to be included for using mechanical means for surface preparation and application of paint as per manufacturers instruction all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.13. Quoted rates are deemed to be included for scaffolding as required. Contractors should arrange necessary scaffolding and all safety precautions for workers at the time of carrying out works as described in Sch A/ BOQ.14. Contractor should visit the site before quoting the tender to assess the resources required to execute the work as the site which include prestigeous buildings of INA. 15. The work may be carried out at different location and in different measurement/touch ups even it is below 1 Sqm or othewise. 16. Quoted rates are deemed to be inclusive for cleaning of paint stains on floor/window /joinery surfaces. 2 M&L for preparation of old decorated surfaces and applying one coat of acrylic emulsion (interior grade) on wall including necessary scaffoldings all as specified and as per manufacturers instructions and as directed. 3 M & L for complete removal of existing surface by scraping of walls including cornices/ pillars etc. by brooming down and applying two coats of acrylic emulsion paint interior grade (Apcolite of Asian paints or equivalent make) over a coat of emulsion primer over wall care putty to obtain uniform finish complete all as specified and directed. 4 M&L for preparation of old treated surfaces and applying one coat of acrylic emulsion (exterior grade) antifungal paint on wall including necessary scaffoldingsall as specified and as per manufacturers instructions and as directed. 5 M&L for preparation of old decorated surfaces and applying one coat sandtex matt finish on wall including necessary scaffoldings all as specified and as per manufacturers instructions and as directed. 6 M&L for preparation of old decorated surfaces and applying one coat of acrylic emulsion (interior grade) on ceiling including necessary scaffoldings all as specified and as per manufacturers instructions. 7 M & L for complete removal of existing surface by scraping of walls including cornices/ pillars etc. by brooming down and applying two coats of santex matt finish on walls over a coat ofprimer over external wall care putty to obtain uniform finish complete all as specified and directed. 8 M&L for preparation of old decorated surfaces and applying one coat of white wash on ceiling including necessary scaffoldings complete all as specifed and directed 9 M&L for preparation of old painted steel surfaces of any description including rafter, purlins etc..(up to a height of 20mtr) over 10 cm width or girth and applying one coat of epoxy paint includingnecessary scaffoldings all as specified. 10 M&L for preparation of old painted steel surfaces of any description including rafter, purlin etc..(up to a height of 9 mtr)over 10 cm width or girth and applying one coat of synthetic enamel paint on steel surfaces including necessary scaffoldings all as specified and as directed. 11 M&L for preparation of old plastered surfaces by using water jet washer and applying one coat of acrylic emulsion paint (exterior grade) on surfaces of parapet wall/ kerb stone guard wall etc with using mechanical sprayer to paint complete all as specifed and directed. 12 M&L for completeremoval of existing treatement and preperation of surface by water jet washer and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint on surfaces parapet wall / kerb stone over and including priming paints plaster coat etc. with using mechanical sprayer to paint complete all as specifed and directed. 13 M&L for preparation of old plastered surfaces by using water jet washer and applying one coat of synthetic enamel paint on surfaces of wall / kerb stone over and including priming paint plastercoat etc. with using mechanical sprayer to paint complete all as specifed and directed. 14 M&L for preparation of old plastered surfaces by using water jet washer and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint on surfaces of wall / kerb stone over and including priming paint plastercoat etc. with using mechanical sprayer to paint complete all as specifed and directed.. 15 M&L for preparation of old treated wooden surfaces of any description over 10 cm width or girth and applying one coat of synthetic enamel paint complete all as specified. 16 M&L for preparation of old surfaces of aluminium electroplated handrails and applying one coat of epoxy paint using spray guns all as specified and as directed by Enginner -In- Charge. 17 M&L for washing rubbing down and stopping of painted surfaces and applying one coat of antifungal paint using UNIGLOSS delux multi surface paint system or equivalent including necessary scaffolding complete all as specified and as directed and as per manufactures instructions 18 Grinding & polishing (Mirror finish) to existing stone topping (Kota, Marble etc..) of any description at floors or insurfaces with electric grinding machine & hand grinding machine complete all as specified. 19 M&L for scrapping off existing thermo plastic paint from road surfaces without damaging the bitumen surface andpainting lines, dashes, arrows, letters etc on road, pavement and the like not exceeding 10 cm and 2.0 mm thick using hot thermoplastic road marking paint for centre line and pedestrian crossing mixed with reflectorizing glass beads at 250grams/Sqm all as specified on finished road surfaces in molten state using suitable mechanical sprayer all as specified and as directed by Engineer in charge. 20 M&L for painting lines, dashes, arrows, letters etc on road, pavement and the like not exceeding 10 cm and 2.5 mm thick using hot thermoplastic road marking paint for centre line and pedestrain crossing mixed with reflectorising glass beads at 250grams/Sqm all asspecified on finished road surfaces in molten state using suitable mechanical sprayer all as specified and as directed by Engineer in charge. 21 M&L for 20mm thick Granite (of any type) tiles machine cut, in flooring,skirting, dado laid over cement screed and jointed with grey cement slurry, and pointed with white cement with admixture of pigment to match the shade of granite stone including grinding and polishing complete over 20 mm thick rendering with cement mortar 1:6 all as specified and directed 22 M&L for preperation of old painted surfaces n.exc 10cm width or girth and applying one coat of synthetic enamel paint on steel/iron surfaces including rafter, purlins ( upto 9 mtr height) and sign board postetc complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. 23 M&L for one coat of synthetic enamel paint on wall of any description match with existing colour including preparation of old surfaces complete all as specified and directed 24 Complete removal of existing treatment from the surface of any description over 10cm in width or girth and applying wood filler liquid transparent and two coats of synthetic varnish all as specified and directed. 25 M&L preperation of old treated surfaces of floor and applying one coat of terracota paint on floor/wall surfaces all as specified and directed 26 M&L preparation of steel surfaces by scrapping/ removing loose paint and applying a coat of synthetic enamel paint to flag mast of approximately 45.00 mts height my means of mechanical lifts or scaffoldings or by any means. Contractor should obtain accidental coverage insurance for the workmen doing this work. Contractor should also ensure proper safety as per norms. 27 M&L for premix bitumen/ readymix bitumen filled in potholes or unlevelled road surfaces after cleaning the surface thoroughly using broom, gunny bags etc. The bitumen surface shall be levelled and matched with adjecent road surfacesand should be tamped and consolidated with manual / mechanical methods.Note:- The mode of payment shall be on weight basis subject to submission of original paid GST bills and the measurement in of volume shall be entered as Not to be abstracted. 28 M&L for taking out the damged filling compound of any material and filling approx 30mm deep x 10mm wide with Joint Sealing Compound Grade “A” (Normal) all as specified and directed 29 Preparation of painted surfaces of dimensions 0.2 to 0.6 m girthby cleaning using jetwash, brooming, washing for removing of dust, clay, mud and other foreign particles on painted surfaces to make it look fresh and removing of grass and vegitations nearby painted surfaces 30 Dismantling stone slabs and tiles of any descriptionor thickness in floors aprons etc laid dry or in mortar. 31 M&L for Stone grit for cushion bed below interlocking paver blocks complete all as specified and directed by Engineer in charge 32 M&L for machine pressed precast concrete interlocking paver block any shape and size conforming to IS15658-2006 of 60mm thickness, M-35 grade with grey cement and pigment. 33 All as per item No.32 herein before but except tiles. 34 M&L for 20mm thick granite (of any type) work (table rubbed and polished) in steps, jambs, floor, pillars , windows cill, cooking platforms and the like in cement mortar (1:4) including pointing in white cement (1:2) using marble dust with admixture of pigment to match with shade of granite incl 20 mm thick screed bed in cm 1:6. 35 M&L chequered cement concrete tiles 20 cm x 20 cm x 25mm / 30 x 30cm x 25mm thick, set jointed and pointed in neat cement slurry in floors with grey cement and pigment including 20mm thick screed bed in cm 1:6. 36 Complete removal of existing treatment from the surface of any description over 10cm in width or girth and applying wood filler liquid transparent and two coat of synthetic varnish all as specified and directed. 37 Dismantling and cleaning for refixing of sadarahally stone cladding fixed with clamps including necessary scaffolding/boomlift arrangement of appropriate design upto a height up to 30 meters from finish/average ground level complete as specified and directed. 38 S&F 20 to 25 mm flame finished sadarahally machine cut stone cladding laid dry fixed with stainless steel clamp and anchor fasteners and headless bolts on vertical surface of wall and column on the following methoda) Make suitable depression (approx. 5mm width and 25 mm depth on vertical face of stone fix the clamp)b) Make suitable drill hole to the surface of stone and wall/column to fix anchor fasteners.c) Make good the surface of drilled portion (where headless bolts are inserted) using universal surface filler(supertak or equivalent)Note:- Supply only Hilti make anchor Fasteners and clamps and headless bolts measured and paid separately 39 All as per item no 38 herein before but except Sadarahalli stone complete as specified and directed. 40 Supply only Hilti make stainless steel anchor fastner- 10 x 80mm and stainless steel clamp 5 x 50 mm for fixing of sadrahally stone cladding complete as specified and directed. 41 Dismantling of wall and ceiling boards (fibre, pulp, insulation, aluminium alloy etc.) or insulation boards/slabs/ blankets, any thickness, including cover fillet complete all as specified. 42 M&L, for providing polyester foil coated aluminium alloy (metal planks) for false ceiling in repair as per manufacturers instructions and all as specified 43 All as per item ser No 42 herein before but fixing only. 44 Grinding & polishing (Mirror finish) to existing stone topping (Kota, Marble etc..) of any description at floors or insurfaces with electric grinding machine & hand grinding machine complete all as specified. 45 Preparation of old treated MP roof tile surfaces by cleaning with by wire brushes to remove all existing fungal growth etc and applying one coat of antifungal paint using UNIGLOSS deluxe multi surface paint or equivalentall as specified and as directed by Engineer in charge and as per manufactures instructions
