(c) Transportation charges for transportation of transformer from site to workshop and after repair, workshop to site shall be borne by the contractor and cost thereof shall be deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted for this item.(d)Contractor are liable to repair the transformer within the 15 days from the date of defective. If any delay / lingering happened without any reasonthe contractor will liable to arrange the transformer till the defects clear/return from workshop. The delay charge from the given time frame will be 500 Rs per day.(e)The said transformer shall be repaired in reputed workshop as decided by the GE.(f) Note – Coil to be replaced shall have same number of turns, gauge insulation value matching with manufacturer’s design. (g) Testing of transformer after repair shall be carried out with the following test and the cost of testing shall deem to be included in unit rate quoted against this item :- (h)The IR value of the dried winding before inserting the core in the shell shall not be less than 750 mega ohm with 5000 volts megger and record of the same shall be maintained. After removing of radiator assembly detach the old gasket material from the radiator and clean the surface thoroughly and repair the leaked cooling fins by gas welding. Install the new gasket according to manufacturer\"s instructions, ensuring it is positioned correctly and reconnection radiator assembly after the complete job with the complete satisfaction of Engr-In-Charge. Note:- (i) Complete arrangement for drain out of transformer oil,plant & machinery such as crane or hydra, labour and gasket etc are included in this quoted rate.(ii) Job shall be executed by authorized agency or by Transformer manufacturer. |
