Procurement Of Flood Fighting Materials (Mega Bag) For Water Resources Department For The Year 2024-25 Zone E.-Supply of Geo Mega Bags (Size 2.00 m × 1.50 m) inner dimension made of composite layers of Geo-textile as per specifications below:Woven Geo-textile for the outer cover. The woven geo textile is PP woven with UV resistant slit film tape fibre with MAVR values of the following properties. Geo textile used to manufacture geo-textile bags should have high mechanical properties for enhanced durability along with enhanced puncture, abrasion and U.V. resistance characteristics. Geo-textile should be inert to biological degradation and resistant to naturally encountered chemicals, alkalis and acids. i. Weight (ISO-9864/ASTM D5261) = 210 Gms/Sqm, ii. Tensile strength (MD) (ASTM D4595) = 29 kN/m. iii. Tensile strength (CD) (ASTM D4595) = 29 kN/m. iv. Tensile Elongation (ASTM D4595) = 5% & = 25%. v. Grab Elongation (ASTM D4632) = 5% & = 25%. vi. It is needle punched non-woven geo-textile made of 100% polyester staple fibres which are formed into a random network for dimensional stability.
