| 14 | M&L for earthingcomplete with galvanised steel earth plate electrode of size 600x600x6mm thick, burried directly in ground, earth pit not less than 2.25 mtr deep below normal ground level with top edge of earth plate not less than 1.5 mtr below normal ground level, connected to the galvanised iron strip of size 32x6mm by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of galvanised iron and 32x6mm GI strip protected by provision of GI tube light grade 40mm bore including provision of concrete pit in PCC 1:2:4 type B-1 (using 20mm graded stone aggregates) with 40mm thick RCC 1:2:4 cover, reinforced with XPM weight not less than 4 Kg /Sqm and 6mm dia round bar handle, excavation and earth work in any type of soil, charcoal dust and salt light grade and 20mm bore GI watering pipe light grade with funnel and wire mesh medium grade GI protection pipe 15mm bore 5 mtr long and GI strip upto main earthing of pole, complete all as shown in electrical plate No. 03 of MES Sch 2009 Part-I including dismantling old UNSV earthing and removal thereof, complete all as specified and directed. Notes :- (i) Main earthing strip from earth plate electrode to test point up to length of 7.5 meters length shall deemed to be include in quoted rates. (ii) GI protection pipe & earthing lead beyond 7.5 mtr shall be measured and paid separately under appropriate item.(ii) On testing after completion if the desired resistenance is not obtained the contractor shall redo the earthing without any extra cost to the department . |
| 15 | M&L for replacement GI tubing light grade 80mm bore with all fittings, laid in trenches or fixed to walls/ alongwith pole with suitable MS clamps, complete for protection of electric cable, complete all as specified and directed. |
| 16 | Supply, installation and erection in vertical position steel tubular swaged poles, type 410, SP-55 (11 meters long) with 300x300x6mm thick mild steel base plate continuously welded to pole, MS plate 3mm thick finial taper plug bolt, nuts and screws all as specified including factory painted with two coats of black bituminous paint internally throughout and externally for embedded portion and applying two coats of aluminium paint over a coat of red oxide primer on remaining exposed surfaces and making alternate black and white strips 30cm high with super enameled paint over a coat of red oxide primer upto 1.5 mtrs height from ground level/ coping after erecting, complete including taking down of Old UNSV pole, complete all as specified and directed. Note :-Excavation, PCC for foundation and earth work shall be measured and paid separately under respective items of this BOQ. |

| 19 | Notes :-An amount of Rs. 10,115.00 on account of Credit Schedule for Schedule \"A\" Part-II shall be deducted from total quoted amount of BOQ to arrive at the contract sum. |
