Tender For Post Development For 516 Family Quarters At Group Centre, Siliguri.; 1 Earth work in excavation by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator) / manual means in foundation trenches or drains (not exceeding 1.5 m in width or 10 sqm on plan), including dressing of sides and ramming of bottoms, lift upto 1.5 m, including getting out the excavated soil and disposal of surplus excavated soil as directed, within a lead of 50 m: All kinds of soil. 2 Supply and filling with carred earth by machanical transport including royalty & cost of earth excavation at source, loding into truck, unloading as per direction of the engineer-in-charge . (Note - The payment of royalty will be held by department while passing bills & will be paid to agency on production of proof of payment of royalty to state Government.) (i) Lead upto 5.00 Km earth 3 Providing and laying in position cement concrete of specified grade excluding the cost of centering and shuttering - All work up to plinth level : 4 1:5:10 (1 cement : 5 coarse sand (zone-III) derived from natural sources : 10 graded stone aggregate 40 mm nominal size derived from natural sources) 5 Providing and laying in position specified grade of reinforced cement concrete, excluding the cost of centering, shuttering, finishing and reinforcement - All work up to plinth level : 6 1:1.5:3 (1 cement : 1.5 coarse sand (zone-III) derived from natural sources : 3 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size derived from natural sources) 7 Brick work with common burnt clay F.P.S. (non modular) bricks of class designation 7.5 in foundation and plinth in: Cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement : 4 coarse sand) 8 Centering and shuttering including strutting, propping etc. and removal of form for 9 Foundations, footings, bases of columns, etc. for mass concrete 10 Lintels, beams, plinth beams, girders, bressumers and cantilevers 11 Columns, Pillars, Piers, Abutments, Posts and Struts 12 Preparation and consolidation of sub grade with power road roller of 8 to 12 tonne capacity after excavating earth to an average of 22.5 cm depth, dressing to camber and consolidating with road roller including making good the undulations etc. and re-rolling the sub grade and disposal of surplus earthwith lead upto 50 metres. 13 Supplying and stacking at site. 14 90 mm to 45 mm size stone aggregate 15 Stone screening 13.2 mm nominal size (Type A) 16 Good earth 17 Moorum 18 Laying, spreading and compacting stone aggregate of specified sizes to WBM specifications in uniform thickness, hand picking, rolling with 3 wheeled road/vibratory roller 8-10 tonne capacity in stages to proper grade and camber, applying and brooming requisite type of screening / binding material to fill up interstices of coarse aggregate, watering and compacting to the required density . 19 Providing and laying 60mm thick faciory made cement concrete interlocking paver block of M -30 grade made by block making machine with strong vibratory compaction, of approved size, design & shape, laid in required colour and pattern over and including 50mm thick compacted bed of coarse sand, filling the joints with line sand etc. all complete as per the direction of Engineer-in-charge. 20 Providing and laying C.C. pavement of mix M-25 with ready mixed concrete from batching plant. The ready mixed concrete shall be laid and finished with screed board vibrator , vacuum dewatering process and finally finished by floating, brooming with wire brush etc. complete as per specifications and directions of Engineer-incharge.(Cement content as per design mix shall be deemed to have been considered while quoting the rate. Nothing extra shall be payable on this account). 21 Steel work welded in built up sections/ framed work, including cutting, hoisting, fixing in position and applying a priming coat of approved steel primer using structural steel etc. as required : In gratings, frames, guard bar, ladder, railings, brackets, gates and similar works 22 12 mm cement plaster of mix : 1:6 (1 cement: 6 fine sand) 23 15 mm cement plaster:1:6 (1 cement : 6 fine sand) 24 6 mm cement plaster of mix :1:3 (1 cement : 3 fine sand) 25 Neat cement punning. 26 Demolishing cement concrete manually/ by mechanical means including disposal of material within 50 metres lead as per direction of Engineer - in - charge: Nominal concrete 1:3:6 or richer mix (i/c equivalent design mix) 27 Demolishing brick work manually/ by mechanical means including stacking of serviceable material and disposal of unserviceable material within 50 metres lead as per direction of Engineer-in-charge : In cement mortar 28 Steel reinforcement for R.C.C. work including straightening, cutting, bending, placing in position and binding all complete upto plinth level :Thermo-Mechanically Treated bars of grade Fe-500D or more. 29 Providing and laying at or near ground level factory made kerb stoneof M-25 grade cement concrete in position to the required line, leveland curvature, jointed with cement mortar 1:3 (1 cement: 3 coarsesand), including making joints with or without grooves (thickness ofjoints except at sharp curve shall not to more than 5mm), includingmaking drainage opening wherever required complete etc. as perdirection of Engineer-in-charge (length of finished kerb edging shallbe measured for payment). (Precast C.C. kerb stone shall be approvedby Engineer-in-charge). 30 Providing and fixing pre-moulded joint filler in expansion joints ofRCC roads / CC pavements after making the joints dust free withhigh pressure air jet cleaners, all complete as per direction of theEngineer-in-Charge. (Pre-moulded joint fillers shall be made of bitumenhot sealing compound impregnated fibre board having impregnationmore than 35%, conforming to IS:1838 for fibre board and IS: 1834for hot sealing bitumen compound grade A.) 31 Providing and filling in position rubberized bitumen hot sealingcompound for sealing of expansion jointsin roads / pavements allcomplete as per direction of the Engineer-in-Charge : Using grade A sealing compound conforming to IS: 1834. 32 Providing and fixing 18 mm thick gang saw cut, mirror polished, premoulded and prepolished, machine cut for kitchen platforms, vanitycounters, window sills, facias and similar locations of required size,approved shade, colour and texture laid over 20 mm thick base cementmortar 1:4 (1 cement : 4 coarse sand), joints treated with white cement,mixed with matching pigment, epoxy touch ups, including rubbing, curing,moulding and polishing to edges to give high gloss finish etc. completeat all levels : 33 Granite stone slab colour black, Cherry/Ruby red 34 Area of slab upto 0.50 sqm 35 Area of slab over 0.50 sqm 36 Electrical Work 37 Supplying, installation testing and commissioning of indoor type 11 KV VCB Panel with 1 Nos VCBs suitable for use on 11 KV, 3 Phase 50 Hz. AC supply with short circuit fault level of 350 MVA, complete etc. as required. Make : ABB/ Seimens/Schneider or equivalent as approved by Engr -in-charge 38 Supplying and laying of one number 3 x 240 sq.mm earthed armoured XLPE insulated PVC sheathed cricular aluminum conductor of 11 KV grade as per IS 7098/(Part-II) 1985 with latest amendments in the existing masonry open duct as required. 39 Supplying and making indoor cable end termination with heat shrenkable jointing kit complete with all accessories including lugs suitable for 240 sq.mm of 3 core, XLPE aluminum conductor cable of 11 KV grade as required. 40 Payble to WBSEDCL for obtaining service connection i/c etc. as required. 41 Note : (i) All Local Body Approvals required for the execution and completion of said work including electrical connection, Testing/Commissioning of electrical equipments from State Electrical Inspector, if applicable and other applicable permissions shall be responsibility of the Contractor and all the charges towards the permissions shall be borne by the contractor. Nothing extra shall be paid by the department in this regard. (ii) All products shall be ISI marked and approved by Estate Officer & Engr-in-charge. (iii) Work shall be executed as per CPWD Specifications
