Bids Are Invited For Custom Bid For Services -Engineering drawing preparation and drafting services for HWD, BARC- 1. Introduction: The engineering drawings such as equipment sketches, equipment drawings, Piping GAD, isometric, equipment layout, working sketches, Plant 3D modeling etc has to be prepared and issued for execution / record. Updating of drawings after obtaining as-built drawings / marked up drawings is also required. This contract is purported to cover under its purview the development / preparation of drawings, isometrics, engineering drawings, sketches, conversion of old paper based drawing to CAD drawings etc. and all related activities. 2. Scope and Responsibility of Contractor and Their Deputed Person a) The draftsmen(deputed by the contractor) shall be responsible for preparation of detailed piping GAD / Isometric drawings / working sketches / P&ID / layout / equipment drawing / equipment layout/electrical drawing, 3-D modeling etc. along with Bill of Material based upon process modification scheme and other inputs provided by Engineer-in-charge (EIC). b) Upon completion of the drawings, they will be printed by the draftsmen. Subsequently, a thorough verification of all dimensions and details will be conducted against reference drawings, P&IDs, and relevant codes and standards. Finally, the checked prints of the drawings will be submitted to the department representative for review. c) The scope of work entails the preparation of a predetermined number of documents/drawings, as specified in the Annexure-A. Completion of the work will be assessed based on the quantity of drawings/documents submitted by the draftsmen. The cost will be determined by the number and types of the drawings/documents/3-D models prepared by the draftsmen. A register of drawings, both in hand and completed, shall be maintained by the draftsmen in accordance with the Engineer-In-Charges (EIC) instructions. d) All the draftsmen should be deployed for 12 months period at HWD, BARC. For completion of work within time frame, Contractor shall ensure that the draftsmen provide the drafting services from Monday to Friday during normal working hours (8.30 AM to 5:30 PM). Lunch period shall be one hour. Modification in working hours and working days will be in scope of EIC. The contract includes a buffer of 2 months within the overall 14-month period to accommodate any shortfall in working days experienced during the initial 12-month project execution timeframe following PO release. To ensure timely completion, we require a team of at least three draftsmen, including two mechanical draftsmen and one civil draftsman. e) The contractor shall not sub contract full or part of the work without a written consent from the HWD, BARC. f) In the event that the performance of any deployed personnel does not meet the Engineer-InCharges satisfaction, a prompt replacement with a suitably qualified individual will be initiated upon notification from the EIC. g) The Contractor will compensate its workers engaged in this project at the prevailing Government of India rates for skilled labor, as established and periodically revised by the government., Annexure-A- 1.
