Dismantling of thrust coolers (8 Nos), UGB coolers (8 Nos), UGB inspection windows, LGB coolers (8 Nos), TGB coolers (1 No.), stator air coolers (8 Nos), related cooling pipelines. Thorough cleaning ofturbine and OPU tanks. Flushing and cleaning the above mentioned coolers by water jet.Inspecting/checking any damaged cupronickel tubes with pressure gun (4 Kg/cm2). After inspection /checking re-assembling coolers assembly by providing and fixing new permanent sheets, rubber sheets and nut & bolts.Coolers to be painted from outside with smoke grey paint and with epoxy paint from inside. Refitting the above coolers in their position after cleaning and testing. Coolers found defective shall replaced with new one (Spare coolers for replacement shall be provided by HPSEBL)

Dismantling of Thrust, LGB, UGB, TGB pads, supporting discs. DPT and UT test of thrust, UGB, LGB, TGB (testing kits / UT arrangement to be arranged by contractor). Defective pads for replacement will be provided by HPSEBL during assembly. Blue matching of TGB, UGB, LGB w.r.t respective journals. Blue matching ofthrust pads with mirror disc. Assembling of UGB, LGB, TGB pads and setting their respective clearances as per OEM standards by BHEL/Ex BHEL experts. (Necessary shims to be arranged by contractor)

Dismantling of old brake lining and providing & fixing new brake lining and brake pads (8 Nos.) of size {length 400 mm, breadth 140 mm, thickness 36 mm} each, frictional material CM-16 or equivalent having following properties [friction µ : 0.28, specific gravity : 2.2, ultimate tensile strength : 290 Kg/cm2, compressive strength : 2760 Kg/cm2, shear strength : 120 Kg/cm2, operating temperature : 175-350oC] - complete in all respects of Unit-1 of Giri Power House.
