Tender For Realtime Fpga Controller With Multifunction I/O Of Aerospace Engineering Department Iit Kharagpur Realtime FPGA controller with Multifunction I/O We require a controller with a processor running a Linux Real-Time OS and a chassis that contains a userprogrammable FPGA. It should support 8 or more slots for plugging in industrial I/O modules for data acquisition and actuator control. While we want 8 or more slots in the chasis, we are interested in procuring only 2 I/O modules as specified below. That means only 2 slots will have modules, the remining 6 or more slots will remain empty. Chasis: The chasis should be directly connected to the I/O for high-performance access to the I/O circuitry of each module and timing, triggering, and synchronization. The chasis should allow each module to be connected directly to the FPGA rather than through a bus, thus allowing almost no control latency for system response. The chasis should have provision for mounting 8 or more I/O modules. Controller: We require a high-performance controller with integrated vision and motion, industrial communication, and human-machine interface capabilities. It should contain a processor that reliably and deterministically executes Real-Time applications and offers multirate control, execution tracing, onboard data logging, and peripheral communication. Controller should have: 1.30 GHz Dual-Core CPU or higher 2GB DRAM or higher 4GB Storage or higher On-die L2 cache – 2MB or greater FPGA programmable capability from LabView Realtime Programming Interface Controller should be compatible with chasis and modules. Modules: 1. 1 Analog voltage input module with at least 4 BNC terminals, 16 Bit, 100 kS/s/ch, +/- 10V 2. 1 Digital module with at least 4 bidirectional Digital I/O channels with BNC connectors. Maximum I/O switching frequency (4 channels) - 16MHz or greater. Input/Output type – LVTTL, single ended Module should have EMI Suppression Ferrite. The FPGA Module should allow programming the module for implementing custom, high-speed counter/timers; digital communication protocols; pulse generation; etc. All hardware should be compatible with LabView software 2. Compatible Power Cord, Data card, Cables, Mounts etc should be provided so that the equipment can be put to use out of the box.
