New Or Existing Including Carrying Out The Design For The Coating Thickness And Getting The Same Reviewed Byengineering-In-Charge Complete, Cleaning The Steel Surfaces, Applying Primer Paint Compatible With The Already Applied Primer; To The Nuts And Effected Surfaces Of The Members Due To Welding; Supplying, Placing And Fixing In Position Welded Wire Fabric Reinforcement 3 Mm Dia 50 X 50 Mesh Conforming To Is:1566 And Tying The Reinforcement To The Nuts With 16 Swg Tying Wire, Including Straightening, Cleaning, Cutting, Bending, Applying The Self Primer Paint After Cleaning Of Steel Members, Vibrating, Tamping, Curing Or Providing A Layer Of Approved Membrane Of Curing Compound, Rendering Wherever Required To Achieve A Smooth And Even Surface, Providing Chamfering At Corners, Supplying And Laying Of 10 Mm Thick Bituminous Mastic Flashing Conforming To Is:3037 For Protection Of Top Edges; Painting The Surfaces With 2 Coats Of Microporous Exterior Top Coat , Including The Cost Of All Labour, Materials, Shuttering, Stagging, Scaffolding, Curing For All Shapes And Positions At All Heights Above Pavement Etc. All Complete As Per Specifications And Directions Of Engineer-In-Charge. ( All Material Shall Be Supplied By The Contractor ) .Note- 1 ) Material To Conform To Ul 1709 For Protection To Structural Steel Sections Against Hydro Carbon & Cellulosic Type Of Fire & Atmospheric Changes; Interior & Exterior Application . Minimum Thickness Shall Be 38 Mm . Outer Coated Volume Will Be Measured And Volume Of Coated Steel Member Will Be Deducted. Application To Be Done Using Spray Jet And Wherever Not Accessible Manual Application Will Be Allowed. Curing Shall Be Done Using Curing Compound.2 ) During Vermiculate Based Fireproofing Operation Cover Protection Of The Existing Structures Shall Be Made By The Contractor As Directed By Engineer-In-Charge.3 ) Already Applied Primer System For Structural Steel Is As Follows-At Shop :-Surface Preparation - Blast Cleaning To Sa 2.5.One Primer Coat Of Zinc Dust Pigment With Ethyl Silicate Binder-75 Micron Dft.4 ) Already Applied Paint System For Equipments Is As Per Equipment Drawings. 5 ) Vendor To Supply And Weld Nuts ( Required For Fireproofing ) To Structural Members. 6 ) Fire Protection Up To 2 Hour Duration.
