Tender For Chemical Based Waterproofing Of Terraces Of Facilities At Prafpul And Spf Buildings, South Site, Barc, Mumbai 400085; 1 Providing And Applying Cold Liquid Polyurathane Waterproofing System Supply And Application Of Kemperol 1K Of Kemper Systems Germany Or Approved Equivalent For Parapet Wall And Critical Area: Providing And Applying ( Pre Measured Packed ) Silver Grey Coloured 2 Components Solvent Free, Odourless, Excellent Adhesion Property Epoxy-Based Kemco Pox 2K Primer On The Clean And Grinded Surface. The Substrate Can Be Slightly Moist ( In Concrete, The Moisture Must Be < 20 % ) , Sound And Free From Any Material That Would Hinder Adhesion. Mix Component A Into Component B In Ratio 1: 0.16 By Weight Thoroughly With Stirring Stick. The Mixture Should Be A Uniform Colour, Free From Streaks. Apply The Primer Evenly With Roller. The Primer Should Be Completely Dry For Further Application Of Liquid Applied Polyurethane Based Membrane. The Consumption Depending On The Nature And Condition Of The Substrate For Priming ~ 250 – 400 Gm / M2. The Rate Shall Including Cost Of Material, Labour, Tools & Plants Etc. Complete.Providing And Applying Kemperol 1K A Cold Liquid Applied Waterproofing Based On Highly Flexible Solvent Free Single Component Polyurethane System And Kemperol Fleece 120 A Special Needle Punched Non Woven, System Compatible Polyester Fleece Of Minimum 120 Gsm As Reinforcement. The Cold Liquid Applied Reinforced System Is Highly Crack Bridging, Uv Stable, Solvent Free, Cool Roof System. Stir The Material Before Use. Over The Prime Substrate, Approximately 2 / 3 Of The Kemperol 1K Waterproofing Mix Material Is Applied To The Substrate And Kemperol Fleece 120 Is Rolled With Roller, Removing Air Bubbles And Allowing Overlap Of 5Cm. The Remaining 1 / 3 Of The Kemperol 1K Waterproofing Mix Material Is Poured Onto The Surface Until Complete Saturation Is Achieved. After Curing On Next Day Apply One Coat Of Material Approx. 300G / M2. The Total System Of Waterproofing For Material And Components Shall Be From Single Manufacturer. The System Is Totally Wet On Wet And No Time Lag Should Be Kept During The Total Laying Of The System. The Total Thickness Achieved From The Application Is 1.4 - 1.7 Mm. The Total Consumption Of Mix Waterproofing Depending On The Nature, Porosity And Condition Of The Substrate ~ 2.3 – 2.7 Kg / M2. The Rate Shall Including Cost Of Material, Labour, Tools & Plants Etc. Complete. The Tensile Strength Of The Membrane Should Be About 8.625 N / Mm2 And Elongation At Break With Fleece To Be About 83.5 % ( With Fleece ) . The Tear Resistance Of The Membrane Should Be To About 41.4 N / Mm, Sri Value Of Membrane Should Be About 101, Degree Of Solar Reflectance Of The Membrane Should Be About 86% And Adhesive Strength Should Be About 2.45 N / Mm2 Etc. Note : 1. The Contractor Shall Provide 10 Years Leak Proof Performance Warranty For The Complete Waterproofing Work. 2 Kemperol V 21O Of Kemper System Waterproofing Supply And Application Of Kemperol V210 Of Kemper Systems Germany Or Approved Make: Providing And Applying ( Pre Measured Packed ) 2 Components Solvent Free, Highly Penetrative, Excellent Adhesion Property Nearly To All Substrates, Epoxy Based Kemperol Ep Primer On The Clean And Grinded Surface. The Substrate Must Be Dry ( In Concrete, The Residual Moisture In The Upper 2 Cm Must Be < 5 % ) , Sound And Free From Any Material That Would Hinder Adhesion. Mix Component A ( Blue Component ) Into Component B ( Yellowish Component ) Thoroughly In Propotion 1 : 0.43 By Weight With The Help Stirring Stick. The Mixture Should Be A Uniform Colour, Free From Streaks. Apply The Primer Evenly With Roller And Immediately Lightly Sprinkle Silica Sand ( 0.4 – 0.8Mm ) Over The It, Including Cost Of All Materials, Labour, Machinery, Tools & Tackles And Consumables All Complete As Per Specifications And As Directed By The Engineer-In-Charge. The Primer Should Be Completely Dry For Further Application Of Liquid Applied Polyester Resin Based Membrane. The Consumption Depending On The Nature And Condition Of The Substrate For Priming ~ 300 – 500 Gm / M2 Including Cost Of Material, Labour, Tools & Plants Etc. Complete.Providing And Applyingkemperol V210 ( Pre Measured Pack ) A 3 Components Cold Liquid Applied Waterproofing System Based On Unsaturated Polyester Resin And A Kemperol Fleece 120 A Special Needle Punched Non Woven, System Compatible Polyester Fleece Of Minimum 120 Gsm As Reinforcement. The Cold Liquid Applied Reinforced System Is Highly Crack Bridging, Uv Stable, Immediate Rain Proof. Add Catalyst Powder To Polyester Resin And Mix Thoroughly If Atmospheric Temp Exceeds25 Deg C Then Add Inhibitor And Mix Thoroughly Until No Streaks And Of Uniform Are Visible. Applying Approx. 2 / 3 Of The Kemperol V210 Waterproofing Mix Material To The Substrate Uniformly And Fleece Is Rolled With Roller, Removing Air Bubbles And Allowing Overlap Of 5Cm. Indofil Chemicals Or Equivalent Approved Product Over Terrace Slab / Parapet / Side Wall Etc., At All Elevations Including Cleaning The Surface And Using Indofil Mc- 76 And Flex Coat- Wp Or Approved Equivalent As Per ManufacturerS Specifictions As Follows:1. Remove All Lose Materials By Wire Brush And Clean Entire Terrace Completely By Clean Water.2. Apply The Bond Coat Of Indofil Binder And Cement In The Ratio Of 1:1 To Entire Waterproofing Terrace Surface As Directed By Engineer In Charge. 3.To Protect The Polymer Film And To Enhance The Life Of Coating, Apply Two Coats Of Indofil Flexcoat- Wp @ 0.42 Kg / Sqm For Two Coats Minimum ( Elastomeric Water Proofing Exterior Coating ) Over Above Surface With Dilution 10% Weight Of Potable Water. 4 Chemical Based Waterproofingproviding Chemical Based Water Proofing Of Modified Acrylic Emulsion Polymer And Elasomeric Waterproofing Coating Of M / S. Indofil- Mc-76Or Approved Equivalent Product Over Terrace Slab / Parapet / Side Walls Etc. At All Elevations Including Polycon Based Fibrous Netcomplete Including Cleaning And Preparation Of Surface And Testing By Ponding Water Complete With Following Operations . 1. Removing Of All Loose Materialsby Wiremesh And Clean Entire Terrracewith Clean Water By Using Water Jet Wherever Required. 2.Open All Visible Crack By Plaster Cutting Machine In V Shape 3. Dilute Indifil Binder With Water In The Ratio Of 1:4And Pour On The Bare Slab To Be Treated . 4. Apply Indfofil Binder And Cementin The Ratio Of 1:1 And Water To Obtain Paste Like Consistancy And Fill The Cracks. 5.Apply Indofil Bond Coat Of Indofil Binder And Cement In The Ratio Of 1:1 To Entire Terrace. 6. First Coat Of Indofil Binder & Cement At The Rate Of 1.48Sq.M Perlitre Of Indofil 7.Lay Polycon Based Firous Net ( Polester Geotextile Of Minimum 80 Gsm ) For Entire Area Immediately Before Drying Of First Coat To Get Proper Bonding. 8. Apply One Miore Coat Of Indofil Binder & Cement Above Fibre Net. 9. Apply 2 Coats Of Indofil- Flexcote -Wp @ 2.40 Sq.M Per Litre With Dilution 10% Weight Of Potable Water. 10.Test The Surface For Water Tightness 5 Preparing The Surface For New WaterproofingPreparing The Existing Surface By Removing Existing Water Proofing Coating Layer And Making It Slightly Rough By Grinding The Same By Mechanical Means And Cleaning The Surface, Removal Of Polycon Net Etc. And Make It Free From All Unwanted Dust, Loose Material And Other Contaminants That May Damage The Water Proofing Treatment Complete As Directed By The Engineer-In-Charge. 6 Waterproofing Plastering Removing The Top Layer 25-32 Mm Thickof Cement Mortar Or China Mosaic Waterproofing Layer Over Brick Bat Coba And Providing And Applying Polymer ( Tapecrete Of Cico Make Or Equivalent ) Cement Slurryin Ratio Of1:1.5 As Bond Coat On The Cleaned Area And Laying 25-32 Mmthick Ready Mix Cement Mortar Mixed With Approved Waterproofing Compound ( Cico Super Make Or Equivalent @ 100 Ml Per 50 Kg. Of Cement ) , Finish Smooth With Cement Slurry, Marking The Finished Surface With Pattern As Matching The Old Finishes Etc. Including Cost Of All Materials, Labour, Machinery, Tools & Tackles And Consumables All Complete As Per Specifications And As Directed By The Engineer-In-Charge. 7 Laying Block Bats Waterproofing Treatment Providing Cement Based Waterproofing Treatment To Terraces / Chajjas Including Cleaning The Concrete Surfaces, Giving Injections To The Top Slab As Required With Cement & Approved Waterproofing Compound Solution To Fill Up All Inherent Holes, Voids Honey-Combs Etc. In The Concrete Slab Whereever Required And SettingAutoclaved Aerated Light Weight Block Bats Coba In Waterproof Mortar 1:4 ( Using Crushed Sand ) With Necessary Gradient For Easy Flow Of Water And Laying Cement Mortar Layer 20 Mm Tk.
