| 11 | Shear Connectors: Make 10/12 mm dia holes using heavy duty electrically operated hammer drills in the concrete of RCC members to a depth of about 75 mm at 500 mm c/c or at suitable grid in zig-zag fashion, clean the holes using air jet and fix pre-fabricated 100 x 50 mm L-shape 8 mm dia rebarso that 75 mm out of 100 mm is inserted inside the concrete and 25 mm remain outside along with 50 mm bend. The shear connectors are used to tie the additional reinforcement bars. |

| 20 | Providing and fixing 6 mm thick Non-asbestos,color coated (Top Surface coated with exterior grade acryllic emulsion paint and bottom shall be natural grey finish), reinforced by organic fibres and/or inorganic synthetic fibres, cement corrugated sheet & ridges of approved make conforming to IS: 14871-2000 laying the same in position as per the stipulation in IS: 3007-1991,including cutting sheets to size and shape wherever required, using 8mm dia Galvanised Iron, L or J hook bolts, clamps, nuts and washer, EPDM washers,etc. complete and as directed. Note: 1)Net Area covered by sheeting including ridges will be measured. Laps will not be paid separately, 2) Use of GI hook bolts shallbe subject to approval of EIC, based case to case, 3) Sample of hook bolt, washer and nut,EPDM washer shall be got approved by EIC before ordering/using, 4) Holes in sheet for hook-bolt shall be made by using drilling machine only., 5)Order for material shall be placed well before actual execution,considering delivery period. |

The sheet shall be fixed using self drilling /self tapping screws, coatedwith Zinc-Tin alloy, of size (5.5x 55 mm) with EPDM seal of approved make . Note: 1) The measurement shall be based on per unit of finished/coveredsurface area, 2) If the sheets of specified thickness are not available then 0.5mm thk. sheets will be allowed to use after prior approval and rebate of Rs300/Sqm shall be taken. |
| 23 | Providing and applying 2 Coats of 100% Pure acrylic, low VOC, water based paint with to withstand for period of atleast 5 years, of approved make. Paint should provide high resistance to UV. Paint should protect against concrete carbonation with R value of minimum 600 and ability to built cracks upto min 0.7mm. The paint has to be applied on High quality water based acrylic copolymer primer with good alkali resistance properties. With all leads and lifts at all levels etc. complete, as directed by Engineer in charge. Note: Prior approval of EIC shall be obtained before placing order or using at site. |

| 25 | Providing and erecting two legged metal tubular scaffolding of width 1200 to 1500mm, using pipes of minimum 40mm diameter, with base plates fixed or adjustable, with necessary clamps, brackets for projections, joint pins, pulleys and other accessories including steel angle or tubular pipe bracings at adequate intervals, access platforms of metal of span not exceeding 1.5 metre centre to centre, horizontal & vertical tubes joint with M.S. Tubes, M.S. tube challis, M.S. clamps and staircase system in the scaffolding for working platform etc. and maintaining it in a serviceable condition for execution of work including provision of rubber inserts to pipe ends at point of contact with structure to avoid damage, including access ladders with intermediate platforms. the scaffolding to be suitably braced and anchored to to the building using support systems created temporarily at the opening in walls using vertical and horizontal adjustable props on the exterior side of building structure. The rate includes provision of high density plastic sheets covering wherever required and a nylon net to prevent flying debris falling onto the pavementand the safety platform at ground level coevering the pedestrain walkways. etc. complete.(The elevational area of the scaffolding shall be measured for payment purpose.The payment will be made once only for execution of all items of works such as repair, painting, sheeting etc. Rate is applicable for all heights from ground level .Note: Max. width payable shall be 1.5m, even if more width is required for safety of scaffolding as per site conditions. |
