| 77 | Note - (i) Tenderer shall quote the rates considering their monthly leaves, reliever etc as per labour laws and nothing extra shall be paid on account of above. In case of absence from duty, payment of that day will not be paid and in addition penalty of Rs 700/- per shift per person will be recovered from the RAR.(ii) Surprise check will be carried out by department representative and if any employes is not available at his working place, he will be treated as absent and recovery shall be made @ Rs 100/- per hour per person.(iii) After issue of work order contractor has to submit the list of employes including reserve alongwith relevent documents for approval. If the quoted amount is less than the estimatedcost item No 46.00i.e Rs. 31,32,864.90 the lowest bidder will have to depost FDR/BGB as elaborated herein after in favour ofAccepting Officer within 07 days of opening of financial bid (cover No 2).(xv) The deposited amount shall bethe differencebetween estimated cost i.e 31,32,864.90 and amount quoted by lowest bidder for respective item. FDR/BGB shall be released only after satisfactory completion of work.If the contractor fails to pay minimum wages to employees,the department shall have right to with hold the said amount which will be verified by GE.The decision of Accepting Officer regarding amount to be withheld shall befinaland binding. The withheld amount will be utilised by GE for payment to employees if contractor fails to pay minimum wages andbalanceamount if any shall only be released.If the lowest bidder fails to deposit the amount asstated above within 07 days,the contractor shall be banned for 06 months & his bid shall be rejected.The contractor shall submit 03 Nos of BGNs/FDRs of equal amount as mentioned above. The BGBs/FDRs validity shall be for 04 months, 08 month & 12 months respectively for the purpose of encashment release as thecase may be.(xvi)The rates quoted shall be inclusive of suitable reliver whenever necessary as required and directed by the Engineer in charge. |
