| 1 | Supply and Installation of Smart Single Phase Meter with the following specifications:• AC Single Phase two Wire, Tamper Proof, Static Meter of Class 1.0, 240 V, 50 Hz, 10A-60A conforming to IS-16444 and relevant IEC standards with inbuilt 865-867 MHz Radio Frequency communication facility with self healing Mesh network with default and on demand display, billing data generation facility, anti-tamperfeatures, Microprocessor and LED/LCD based circuitry..• Meter Should support the following data : 30 min instantaneous data for voltage, current, power factor, power, cumulative energy and frequency, 30 load survey data for energy, monthly billing survey for Cumulative Energy and Max Demand • Meter should have connect / disconnect functionality operable from prepaid billing software Electric supply will be disconnected under followingcondition.(a)Over Current (105 % of Max current in any phase (b) Load control limit (Programmable) (c) Disconnection signal from utility control centre (d) The meter shall confirms requirements specified in IS-15959. (e) All meters should be connected/ Integrated with their respective Data control units and approved softwares/ servers. • The meter should support open communication protocol DLMSwith the softwareMAKE: Secure, L&T, HPLNote: The contractor would be responsible from removing the existing meter, noting down the reading and depositing it with the MES. |
| 2 | (b) It would be possible to run the meter in both prepaid and postpaid mode(c) The meters to carry 05 year guarantee. The contractorshall furnish 05 (Five) years replacement guarantee for prepaid meters installed under this contract except damage from water and fire.(d) Whole work shall be executed through Origional Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) or its authorised repersentative. (e) Contractor will submit necessary MoU on Rs 100 stamp paper with OEM/Authorized rep (Who will provide all these facility mentioned above before commencement of work)(f)The contractor should maintain reserve stock of 3% of total meter installed and replace the faulty meter within one week of complaint given to him.Otherwise penal recovery of Rs 100/day/meter will be recovered from the contractor.(g) Meter should be compliant to IS16444. Data exchange protocol used should be as per IS 15959 (2011).(h) Meter manufacturer should share LLS Key & HLS Key of each meter. (j)Thesmart meter should be RF enabled, the buyer has to insist during purchase (in specs) that their MDAS can be exchanged with other third- party billing systems, and that they will provide support to enable data exchange. Another point to be confirmed from meter manufacturing module used inside the meter is a plugin module.(k) The cost of internal wiring required for connection of meter and making good disturbed surface & matching with existing surface is deemed to included in quoted rate.(l) While installing power shutdown etc needs to be take in consulation with the user and MES .The contractor should ensure Minimum disturbance of Powerwhile changing the old Metering system to New Meters |
