System Operation Check Shall Be Conducted After Re-Installation. 2. Disconnection Of Transformer Hv / Lv Terminations For Overhauling Work And Re-Connection After Completion Of Overhauling Work. 3. Removing All Control Cables Securely With Proper Identification For Overhauling Work And Re- Connection After Completion Of Overhauling Work. 4. Testing Of Transformer For Voltage Ratio, Magnetic Balance, Magnetizing Current, Oil Bdv Etc. Prior To Oil Draining. 5. Draining Of Oil To The Required Level Followed By Removal Of Conservator, Radiators, Cable Boxes, Top Cover, Dismantling Of Hv / Lv Bushing Etc. 6. Loading / Unloading, Winching From Plinth To Outside Of Transformer Bay. 7. Opening Of Inspection Windows, Disconnection Of Octc Oltc Connection Etc. If Untanking Of Core-Coil Assembly Is To Be Carried Out If Possible Only Else Hot Oil Washing Will Be Done Without Untanking Of Active Part. 8. Untanking Of Active-Part For Physical Inspection Followed By Thorough Checking Of Active- Part If Possible Only. 9. Hot Oil Washing / Cleaning Of Core-Coil Assembly For Removal Of Sludge / Other Foreign Particles From Core-Coil Assembly. 10. Replacement Of Fiber Studs / Nuts Wherever Required. 11. Tightening Of All The Fasteners Of Active Part Such As Tie-Rod, Pressure Screws, Tap Leads, Hv / Lv Bushing-Jumpers, Connections Etc. ( If Possible And Approachable ) . 12. Check The Insulation Resistance Value Of Active Part And Core To Frame. 13. Cleaning Of Main Tank Inside For Removal Of Sludge / Other Foreign Particles And Old Oil. 14. Re-Tanking Of Active Part Followed By Connection Of Octc / Oltc, Hv / Lv Bushing, Internal Tank Connection, Locking Of Core-Coil Assembly With Tank Body, Core Earthing Etc. 15. After Repair / Inspection Winching From Outside To Plinth Of Transformer. 16. Entire Gasket Replacement For All The Joints By Rc-70C, Tr-9 Grade Rubberized Cork Sheet As Per The Original Sizes. 17. Servicing, Performance Testing / Check Of Buchholzs Relay / Mog / Prv / Osr Etc. And Oti / Wti Calibration, Submission Of Reports As Part Of Final Overhauling Report. 18. Carrying Out Dehydration Of Core-Coil Assembly By Prolonged Filtration / Hot Oil Circulation Whichever Is Applicable. 19. Oil Filuation In The Oil Tank Prior To Filling-In In The Main Tank. Minimum 4 Nos. ( 6 Kl And Above Capacity ) Oil Filtering Machines Are Envisaged Considering Quantum Of Job. 20. Check The Oil Bdv Hefore Filling Oil In Transformer. 21. Oil Filling Followed By Oil Filtration Till Desired Parameters Achieved. 22. Testing Of Transformer For Following Tests, Before And After The Overhauling Work. Ir Value / Pi Value Measurement. Voltage Ratio Test At 440 / 230 V. Magnetic Balance Test At 440 / 230 V. Open Circuit ( I.E. Magnetizing Current ) Test At 440 V Only. 23. Supervision For Commissioning Of Transformer. 24. Submission Of Detailed Report On Overhauling Including All Test Reports
