2Earth work in All kinds of soils excavation by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator) / manual means in foundations, trenches and drains upto 1.5m depthincluding shoring, dewatering, backfilling in layers not exceeding 20cm depth, disposal of surplus earth, lead upto 2km and lift upto 1.5m, disposed earth to be levelled and neatly dressed complete as per specifications and as directed by EIC.
3Demolishingcement concrete work(PCC/RCC) including removing and disposing the dismantled material at designated places and stacking of serviceable materials all completeas per specification and asdirectedby the Engineer-In-Charge.
4Removing the damaged/disturbed chainlink fencing alround the main plant areas or whereever required and handing over to the sectional stores as required complete as per the direction of Engineer-in-charge.
5Removing the existing damaged barbed wire from the perimeter wall and stacking serviceable materials and disposal of unserviceable materials etc., complete as per the instructions of the Engineer in charge.
6Removing damaged/disturbed/bent/structural steel /concrete fencing posts in andaround the main plant areasincluding necessary excavation, chipping cutting & welding and handingover the same to the sectional storesall complete as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer in Charge.
7Removing and refixing the disturbed/bent structural steel posts inaround the main plantfencing areas to true line, level & verticality without distrubing theexisting concrete block at bottomincluding necessary cutting & welding all complete as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer in Charge.
8Providing and laying plain cement concrete of 1:4:8 [1 cement : 4 sand: 8 stone aggregate] grade, using 40mm and down gauge crushed stone aggregate of approved quality in foundation and plinth, under floors, pavements, footings, pedestals etc. including centering and shuttering, spreading, leveling, ramming, finishing, curing etc. complete as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.
9Providing and laying plain cement concrete of grade 1:2:4 [1 cement: 2 coarse sand: 4 stone aggregate], using 20mm and down gauge crushed stone aggregate of approved quality in foundation, plinth, pedestals etc., including embedding the fencing post and strutswhile laying the concrete, centering and shuttering, spreading, leveling, ramming, finishing, curing etc. complete as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.(Structural stell posts will be paid separately under relevant item).
10Supplying and filling coarse river sand of approved quality in foundations, plinth, under floors, pavements etc. including leveling, watering, ramming, etc. complete as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer in charge.
11Providing and laying Fly Ash brick masonryhaving crushing strength not less than 10N/mm2 in CM 1:6 (1 cement : 6 coarse sand) in superstructure at all heightincluding curing, provision of scaffolding etc. complete as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.
12Providing and laying 15mm thick cement plaster in cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement : 4 fine sand) proportion over brick/RR masonry/concrete walls, floors and other surfaces including providing and mixing approved water proof compound in the proportion recommended by the manufacturer, raking of joints, hacking the concrete surfaces, scaffolding where necessary, curing etc. complete as perdrawings, specifica-tions and as directed by the EIC .
13Providing and laying 12mm thick cement plaster in cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement : 4 fine sand) proportion over brick/RR masonry/concrete walls, floors and other surfaces including providing and mixing approved water proof compound in the proportion recommended by the manufacturer, raking of joints, hacking the concrete surfaces, scaffolding where necessary, curing etc. complete as perdrawings, specifica-tions and as directed by the EIC .
14Providing, fabricating, transporting, erecting and fixing in position structural steel members of make VIZAG/SAIL/TATAusing angles, channels, beams, plates, flats, rounds, cleats including cutting, grinding, welding, bolting and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint of approved make and shade over a coat of red oxide primer etc. complete as per the drawings, specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.
15Providing and fixing G.I. chain link fabric fencing of required width in mesh size 50x50 mm confirming to IS-2721 including strengthening with 2 mm dia wire at two levels fixing with nuts, bolts and washers as required complete as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. Made of G.I. wire of dia. 4 mm
16Providing and applying Two coats of Acrylic smooth exterior grade paint of Asain paint/ Nerolac/ Berger make and shade (applied @1.67 ltr per 10 sqm) over coat of exterior primer (applied @ 2.2. Kg/10 Sq mtr) on walls, chajjas etc., at all heights and levels,including removing the old paint by scrapping/buffing, preparation of the surfaces, washing and includingnecessary repairs toscratches filling up of the holes and cracks with approved filling material, scaffolding, arranging safety appliances,insurance coverage to workers etc.,complete all as per specifications.
17Providing and fixing with G.I. barbed wire Fencing to \"Y\" angle iron post placed at required distance embedded in cement concrete blocks, every 15th post, last but one end post and corner post shall be strutted on both sides and end post on one side only and provided with horizontal lines and two diagonals interwoven with horizontal wires, of barbed wire weighing 9.38 kg per 100 m (minimum), between the two posts fitted and fixed with G.I. staples, turn bucklesall complete as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. (Cost of posts, struts, earth work and concrete work to be paid for separately). Note: Payment to be made per metre cost of total length of barbed wire used.
18Providing and finishing with two or more coats of Epoxy paintof Asian/Berzer/ Nerolac or equivalent make on concrete/ plastered surface/ steel structuresat all locations prepared and applied as per manufacturers specification over a coat of epoxy primer of approved make includung surface preparation etc., complete all as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer in Charge.Note:1.The base and hardener componentsshould be thoroughly stirred. The entire contents of the colour pot should be poured into the base container and the two materials mixed thoroughly, then add the hardener component and mixed for at least 3 minutes. The use of a heavy-duty slow speed, flame proof or hand driven drill fitted with a suitable Mixing Paddle is desirable.2.The first coat of Epoxy paint should be applied using a good quality medium haired pile roller, suitable for epoxy application, or squeegee to achieve a continuous coating.Ensure that loose hairs on the roller are removed before use. When the base coat has reached initial cure, The top coat can be applied by medium haired roller.A minimum film thickness of 120 microns is to to met with two coats of epoxy paintover a coat of primer. Care should be taken to ensure that a continuous film is achieved.
