Bids Are Invited For TECHNICAL DETAILS OF BATHROOM TOILET CUBICLE Ser No Brief specification 1. Scope of work:- The work consists of manufacture and supplies of pre-fabricated structure of FRP toilet block & bath room of size 2.44 m x 1.22 m (Out to out measurement of PUF Panel wall) x 2.1 m ht with 1 toilet & 1 bathroom cubicle ( structure less) as per specification shown in the drawing . Store list att as Appx. (a) Toilet & bathroom cubicle of size: 1.15 m x 1.15 m (inner dimension) (b) Verandah. 1.22 x 2.44 m covered Verandah with column height of 1.8 m at the cantilever end all along the length of structure. 2. Pedestal. The details of pedestal as per drg att. 3. Design Criteria (a) Seismic Co-efficient : As per Seismic Zone V (b) Snow load : 1 meter standing on roof (c) Wind load : Equivalent to wind speed of 55 mtrs/sec as per IS – 875 (d) External temperature : (-) 40 degree C to (+) 35 degree C (e) Water absorption/Penetration : Nil (f) Termite proofing : Termite proof (g) Fire resistant : Fire retardant & should not emit toxic fumes. (h) Ease of construction : Shelter should be modular in design (j) Design load : As per IS 875 (k) ‘U’ Value of external walls will not exceed 0.38 (+) 5% W/m²K 4. Material (a) Roof Roof will be curved as shown in the drawing and will be made of 50 mm thick PUF sandwiched between FRP of 2.7 mm thick on either side. (b) Side Wall & Partition Panel Side wall & Partition wall Panel shall be made of 50 mm thick PUF sand witched between FRP of 2.7 mm thick on either side. (c) Protuding Roof Protuded Roof made of 5 mm thick FRP Sheet of size 300 mm width and 75 mm height will be provided as per drawing. The wall panel, curved roof and protruded roof will be joined by using nuts & bolts of adequate size. The shape of the protruding roof and joining arrangement should ensure no ingress of water / snow in the FRP Toilet. (d) Flooring (02 Nos. one for each cubicle) Flooring will be made of 18 mm thick plywood laminated with 2.7 mm thick FRP on all sides of the flooring with chequered finish. The flooring will be joined with side wall and partition wall panels (e) FRP Specification i) Relative Specific Gravity : 1.4 (min.) ii) Tensile Strength : 700 KG/cm² (min.) iii) Cross Breaking : 1500 KG/ cm² (min.) iv) Compressive Strength : 1700 kg/ cm² (min.) v) Impact Izod : 1.5 Kg-m (min.) vi) Glass content : 35% (min.) (f) PUF Specifications (i) Density – 44 ± 10% kg/m3 (ii) ‘U’ value of external walls will not exceed 0.38 (+) 5% W/m2K (iii) Flammability B2 DIN 4102 Pt I (iv) Blowing agent (non CFC) – R- 141B (v) Compressive strength at 10% deformation – 2.1 kg/cm2 (vi) Tensile strength 3.7 kg/cm2 (vii) Bending strength – 4.0 kg/cm2 (viii) Adhesive strength (Foam to steel) – 2.9 kg/cm2 (ix) Close cell content – 90-95% (g) Verandah . The sides of the verandah will be open. Front portion and roof of the verandah shall be covered as per drg with the following:- (i ) Flat frosted FRP Sheets of 5 mm thick fixed to RHS of Size 40 mm x 40 mm x 3.2 mm (thickness ) having Base Plate of size 200 mm x 200 mm x 6 mm welded at the base of column having pre drilled four holes. The length of C column is 7.5 feet and C1 column is 7 feet. The RHS column will be joined with horizontal members with the help of 6 mm thick cleat by using adequate size nuts and bolts member. All steel members will be painted with two coats of white paint over a coat of redoxide with proper finish. (ii) Fixing arrangement of FRP flat sheet will be 10 mm dia ‘J’ or ‘U’ hook with two Nos of suitable washers and nuts made of high tensile steel. (h) Anchoring Bracket The front FRP wall panels will be provided with six Anchoring brackets as per drawing to hold / attach/join C columns of size 40 mm x 40 mm with FRP structure. The columns will be fixed with Anchoring bracket by an arrangement of locking pin. 5. 6. Doors One door each for one cubicle (2 No) having 30 mm thickness of size 1920 mm x 600 mm. The insulation (PUF) used in the door will be of 25 mm thick and density 44 Kg/m3 ± 10% Kg/m3. The following will be provided along with door:- (a) 2 x Door Handles per Door (one each inside and outside) 150 mm long aluminium fabricated. (b) 2 x Aldrop Bolts per Door (one each inside and outside) 250 mm long 16 mm dia aluminium fabricated. (c) 3 x Hinges per Door 100mm long aluminium hinges fixed to each door. (d) Fixed Window . One fixed window of size 300 mm x 150 mm will be provided with each door as shown in the drawing sheet No. – 2 . The fixed windows will be of triple glazed polycarbonate sheets. (e) One number horizontal cloth peg set of size 300 mm x 30 mm x 1.5 mm thick with four pegs behind each door fixed through & through with the help of 50 mm x 50 mm x 6 mm thick anchor plate. Ventilators (02 Nos.) Ventilators will be of size 600 mm x 450 mm sliding type and shall be provided at locations as marked on drawing. The outer frame will be made out of aluminium Anodized section 2 mm thick conforming IS – 513 1996. The ventilator shutter shall be 1.5 mm thick slide type and shall be manufactured using 6 mm thick frosted / pin head, single glazing glass opening internally:- 24. Hard Standing . Providing one mtr wide hard standing in front of shelter by using Machine pressed precast concrete interlocking paver block any shape and size confirming to IS : 15658- 2006 of 40 mm thickness M-30 grade over 50 mm thick sand cushioning over 75mm thick PCC (1:5:10) type E2 of 40mm graded stone aggregate over rammed earth shall be provided with all around PCC coping of width 100mm and ht 150mm. 25. BldgMtrl. Cement. OPC Cement in HDPE bags of 50 Kg each. MAKE: ACC/AMBUJA /JK LAXMI/ ULTRA TECH. Cement should be OPC 43 grade (50 Kg each) well packed of latest brand not more than one month after the date of manufactured (at the time of supply). Sand. Should be course river sand conforming to IS 2116-1980. Course Agg. Should be crushed stone agg conforming to IS 383-1970. Bricks.PCC Bricks of size 230mmx115mmx75mm with min str of M 15 and conforming to IS- 456 of 1978 Note:- (a) Details missing, if any, will be assumed to be provided by the supplier as per good engineering practice, and will be approved by the inspection team of the consignee as per the manufacturer standard design. (b) All material required for the manufacture of Store Shelter shall be new and comply with relevant bureau of IS specification and should be of the company as specified in-store-list. (c) Exec will be carried out as per IS provision/ Std Engr practices. 26. Testing and Quality Assurance (a) RFP Stage Vendor will submit the following for tech scrutiny/check during RFP stage :- (i) OEM/OEM authorized vendor certificate from OEMs. (ii) Proof of supply (i.e. copy of SO and wk completion certificate) of value at least 75% of the tender amt of supply of similar prefab toilets to LPWD/PWD/ defence supply. (b) Delivery of stores Vendor will erect one complete shelter alongwith frame at Nagrota alongwith copy of design of shelter vetted by Govt Engineering college for inspection by CE/rep of CE and rep of Engr Regt prior to supply of stores. (c) Sample Approval All samples/ Makes will be approved by CO Engr Regt prior to supply of stores.
