Turbine Guide Bearing Shells of Sharavathy Generating Station, Jogfalls - 577435, Shimoga Dist., Karnataka -The Brief Scope Of Work Covers Noting The Scheme Of Dimensional Arrangements, Measure The Distortion & Ovality/ Run-Out On Top And Bottom Portion Of The Existing Bearings. Metal Spraying Through Eutectic Process By Eutalloy Torch Method; Achieve The Better Concentricity And Roundness Of The Shell. Achieve The Correct Diameter Without Distortion & Ovality Of Tgb Shells By Machining. Re-Babbitting And Machining Of Complete Tgb Shells As Per The Existing Scheme Of Arrangement. Make Oil Grooves & Surface Tapering As Per Drawing, Cleaning, Plugging The Holes And Arrest The Water Leakage In The Water Jackets And Pressure Test At 5 Kg/Cm2. Scrapping, Cleaning And Painting Of Fresh Anticorrosion Oil Resistant Paint On Outer Surface Of The Shells. Suitability Checking Of Tgb Shells Has To Be Carried Out At Sgs In Co-Ordination With Kpcl. Detailed Specification And Scope Of Work Is Furnished In Section - Iii : Technical Specifications And Scope Of Work Attached In The E-Portal Re-Metalling, Reconditioning And Replacement Of Cooling Water Jackets Of Released Two(2) Nos.
