Annual Rate Contract For Material Handling For The Period Of One Year-Collection Of Goods From Local Transporter / Railways / Local Suppliers Within The Limits Of Municipal Corporation, Bathinda City Including Unloading From Wagons At Railway Station, Its Transportation To Anywhere In Nfl Complex Including Plant Or Township And Its Unloading & Stacking At Desired Place Of The Following Consignments.Note:- Payment Shall Be Made As Per Each Goods Receipt ( Gr ) / Railway Receipt ( Rr ) In Case Of Collection From Transporter / Railways. Payment Shall Be Made As Per Each Invoice In Case Of Collection Of Material From Local Suppliers. Contractor Shall Arrange To Supply One Photocopy Of The Gr / Rr Alongwith The Consignments And Other Documents After Effecting Collection. 2 Weight Per Consignment Upto 300 Kg. 3 Weight Per Consignment More Than 300 Kg. 4 Unloading, Shifting & Stacking Of Material Received Through Road / Rail On Door Delivery Basis At Nfl Premises Of Following Categories: 5 Consignments ( Packed / Bagged / Loose Excluding Empty Urea Bags And Structural Steel Items ) Where Weight Of Each Package / Loose Is Upto 300 Kg. 6 -Do- Where Weight Of Each Package / Loose Is More Than 300 Kg. 7 Empty Urea Bags 8 Structural Steel ( I.E. Plates, Angles, Channels, Beams & Tor Steel Etc. ) 9 Shifting Of Materials ( Bagged / Packed / Loose / Structural Steel / Chlorine Tonners / Chlorine Cylinders / Drums ) From One Location To Another Of Following Categories: 10 Weight Per Piece Upto 300 Kg. & Shifting Within Plant Area 11 Weight Per Piece More Than 300Kg Shifting Within Plant Area 12 Weight Per Piece Upto 300 Kg But Shifting Is From Plant Area To Township / Raw Water Works Or Vice Versa. 13 Weight Per Piece More Than 300 Kg But Shifting Is From Plant Area To Township / Raw Water Works Or Vice Versa. 14 Shifting Of Scrap Including Empties ( Canisters, Drums Etc. ) From Plant Area To Nfl Stores & Weighment, Sorting, Segregation & Restacking Of Scrap Into Various Categories At Specified Locations. 15 Repacking / Refilling Of Chemicals Spilled Over From Torn Bags / Leaking Drums Including Stacking 16 Opening, Counting / Measuring / Weighment Of Contents Received.Keeping The Items Duly Tagged / Marked At Suitable Locations, So As To Facilitate Inspection. Shifting And Stacking Of Material After Inspection.Payment Shall Be Made As Per Srv Basis.The Contractor Shall Also Be Required To Reopen And Repack The Boxes Or Shift & Stack The Materials Wherever Required For The Purpose Of Inspection.The Contractor Shall Arrange His Tools & Tackles For Opening Of Boxes & Repacking, If Required. The Contractor Shall Also Arrange For The Removal Of Waste / Garbage / Wooden Packing From Receipt Section & Surrounding Area And Shifting It To Specified Location On Day-To-Day Basis. The Contractor Shall Also Arrange To Deliver The Srv / Dak To Custodies Section / F&A Deptt. / Plant Area. ( Two Labour In Receipt Section To Be Provided ) 17 Providing Services Of Four Messengers For Handling / Distribution / Collection Of Office-Dak, Arranging Photo Copies From Nfl’S Photo Copier / Market Photo Copier And Other Miscellaneous Services For The Office Of Dgm ( Matls ) , Cm ( Matls. ) / Sr. Manager ( Matls - Purchase ) / Sr. Manager ( Matls - Stores ) / Head Of Stores / Purchase Section. For Execution Of Jobs The Contractor Shall Depute Four Persons On All Working Days Except Sundays / National & Gazetted Holidays. 18 Providing Maintenance / Upkeeping Services For Application Of Antitrust, Grease, Oiling ( Grease& Oil To Be Provided By Nfl ) .After Cleaning, Marking Of Code No. On Items ( Paint & Brush For Markingwill Be Provided By Nfl, Wherever Required ) .Segregating, Counting, Weighing, Measuring / Shifting Of Items ( Within Store, Whenever Required ) & Collection / Delivery Of Dak For The Purpose Of Receipt, Issue And Stock Verification, Removal Of Dust From Racks With Vacuum Cleaner / Blower / Duster Etc. From Time To Time For :I. Elect / Inst / General Godown Items.Ii. Cement / Chemicals / Stationery & Misc. Godown Items.Iii. Mech. & Cpp Godown Items.Iv. Steel Yard Itemsv. Raw Material / Petrol Pump / Weigh Bridge.Vi. Scrap Godown / Scrap Yard Items.Vii. Shifting Of Surplus & Obsolete Items From Custody To Salvage Godown / Store Area Separately.Viii.Segregating Of Written Off Material ( Capital / Revenue ) .Ix. Shifting Of Project Material Laying At L&T Open Yard To Wherever Required In Stores.X. Cleaning Of Salvage Godown, Spent Catalyst Godown / Spent Oil Godown / E-Waste Store Etc.Xi. Shifting Of E-Waste Material From Main Store To E-Waste Store. ( Total 6 Labour To Be Provided I.E. 4 Labours For Custody Section, 1 Labour For Salvage Godown And 1 For Weighing Bridge ) . 19 Grass / Bushes / Trees Cutting / Cleaning From Steel And Salvage Yards And Surrounding Areas Of Stores.Persons Deployed For Grass Cutting Job Should Carry Necessary Tools / Any Other Equipments / Hand Gloves / Safety Boots Etc., Which Will Be Provided By Contractor. Contractor May Be Asked To Cut Grass In Other Area In The Nfl Premises On The Quoted Rates. After Cutting Of Grass / Bushes / Trees, The Same Is To Be Removed And Shifted Outside The Factory Gate At A Specified Place Immediately. 20 Supply Of Skilled Carpenter For Preparation Of Wooden Cases For Outward Dispatch Of Materials As And When Required. 21 Deployment Of Labour Within / After Office Hours Or Working On Sundays / Holidays For Any Emergencies / Shutdown / Physical Verification In Stores. Rates May Be Quoted On Per Hour Basis. Daily Written Approval From Sectional Head Will Be Obtained For The Job And Copy Of Approval Is Also To Be Submitted Alongwith Concerned Bill Of The Contractor.Note: Extra Wages For Overtime: Where A Worker Works In A Factory For More Than Nine Hours In Any Day Or For More Than Forty Eight Hours In Any Week, He Shall, In Respect To Overtime Work, Be Entitled To Wages At The Rate Of Twice His Ordinary Rate Of Wages. 22 Supply Of Unskilled Labour For Loading Of Material Etc.
