To Ensure That New Mastic Is Properly Blended With Existing Mastic Flooring And Uniform Surface Finish Is Attained.Scope Of Job: Cleaning Of Surface, Providing And Laying 20Mm Thick Anti-Static And Electrically Conducting Mastic Flooring Confirming To Is:8374 Latest In Patches, Pot Holes And Cracks In The Lpg Sheds, Connecting Platforms Etc, , For The Horizontal Surfaces, Floors Including The Cost Of All Labour, Material, Equipment Etc., Technical Specification For Mastic Flooring: The Bitumen Mastic To Be Applied Shall Be Anti-Static And Electrically Conducting Conforming To Is 8374 Of Latest Edition. The Mastic Shall Contain In Specified Quantities Graphite Powder In Addition To The Usual Ingredients As Specified In The Code. Mastic Shall Be Mixed Either In Mastic Cooker With Batching Arrangements For Various Ingredients Or Thru Manual Mixing. Necessary Devices Shall Be Provided For Maintaining The Temperature. The Work Shall Include Cleaning Of Floors And Columns On Which Mastic Has To Be Applied. Providing 20Mm Thick Bitumen Mastic Anti Static Electrically Conducting Mastic Flooring Confirming To Is 8374 Of Latest Edition As Per Technical Specification & Advice Of Plant Manager. The Composition Of Ingredients For Mastic Per 1000 Kg Mixed Sample Is As Follows: Graphite: 100 Kg Bitumen ( 95 / 25 Or 85 / 25 ) : 150 Kgsand: 200 Kglime Powder: 250 Kg6mm Down Aggregate: 300 Kg Mixed Thoroughly Above Mixture And Heat For Two Hours, At Temperatures 175 - 200 Degree Centigrade.The Fully Cooked Charge Is To Be Transferred In Mortar Pans To The Spot Sprinkled With Lime Stone Duct To Prevent Sticking Of Molten Material. The Bitumen Mastic Should Be Laid In Bays In One Coat And Should Be Spread To Specified Thickness By Suitable Hand Tools. Leveling Should Be Done With Wooden Floats And Surfaces Should Be Uniformly Prepared
