| 5 | Dry Excavation:Cutting, loosening and removing all type of materials such as sand, silt, silt mixed with clay/roots boulders weighing upto 250kg individually etc. as available at the location of the proposed Dock basin area adjacent to GCB2 and/or along the approaches to GCB2, from the existing level upto 0.00m and transporting, dumping (to the required height as directed by the Engineer/ Employer) and levelling at the designated area located anywhere in the port lands (inside or outside port boundaries) within a lead of 4 km including cost of all labour, materials, tools and plants, fuel, loading, unloading transportation, consumables etc., all as directed by the Engineer in charge.Note:The rate specified is deemed to include transportation cost for a lead of 4 Kms between 3- 4kms. |

| 7 | Mobilization of all equipment machinery, crafts including all type of dredgers and ancillary crafts commensuration with the method statement to carry out all the works as per the scope of work within the time specified and demobilize all the equipment brought after completion of the respective works with the prior approval of the “Engineer or Employer’s personnel” in charge including cost of all, labour, fuel, consumables, transportation etc. complete.NOTE:(i) The contractors along with their technical offer shall furnish the list of equipment, machineries, dredgers and other ancillary craft along with their tentative schedule for mobilization and demobilization of the equipment’s, machinery, marine crafts including the Dredgers. Notwithstanding the fact as to whether the list contains all the equipment/machinery/crafts/dredger or not. It is the responsibility of the contractor to mobilize additional equipment, machineries, crafts, dredgers, etc. without claiming any extra cost for proper completion of the work proper within the specified time.(ii) The total mobilization and demobilization charges shall not be more than the limit prescribed in clause.26 of section IV.(iii) 75% of the total lump sum rate quoted for the item shall be released only after mobilization of respective type of dredgers proposed to be deployed for the work in good working condition as per their work methodology statement and upon completion of at least 5% of the total dredging quantity as detailed in clause.26 of section IV (without correlating to mobilization of machinery or equipment) and balance 25% of the quoted rate shall be released only after demobilization of all the quipment/machinery/crafts/dredgers and other ancillary crafts.(iv) The rate shall include all duties, taxes (excluding GST) and all other charges/expenditure etc. complete in all respects. |
| 8 | Deploying required type of dredgers (TSHD/CSD/Backhoe or other suitable machineries/crafts etc) as per the work methodology proposed by the tenderer subject to approval of Engineer and carrying out capital dredging in all type of soil including sand, silt, clay, boulders etc (boulders and cobbles up to size of 400 mm to be included as dredging quantity along with this item), as existing at site of work from the existing sea bed level to ( - ) 16.0 m CD in the GCB 2 area, approaches to the GCB in Harbour basin, MLT II and IOCL Captive Jetty area including side slopes and below the deck portion of GCB 2 to the required width all as shown in the drawing No KPL-NTCPWC-CD-PH -V-2022-001and as detailed in the condition of contract/specification including disposing/dumping the dredged materials evenly in the locations specified in the drawing KPL-NTCPWC-CD-PH-V-2022-002Including cost of conducting all types of surveys ( Pre, Post and interim surveys, Third Party Surveys),cost/hire charges of survey launch, all plants, labour, fuel materials, consumables, etc. complete and as directed by the ‘Employers Engineer.’ |
| 9 | Environmental Monitoring Cost as per the details specified in the Bid document. The rate quoted shall be inclusive of men, material, equipment, tests, fuel and transportation. |
