    Supply Of Shovelshovel,Manufacture And Supply Of Round Nose Shovel With Handles, Confirming To Is274. The Blades Shall Be Manufactured From Any Suitable Quality Steel Sheet Meeting The Requirements Laid Down In Is 1570 1951. The Rivets Are The Pins Shall Be Manufactured From Mild Steel Confirming To Is 2062. Each Blade Shall Be Made In One Piece Without Any Welded Or Riveted Joint The Tip Of The Socket May Be Slightly Rounded At The Option Of The Manufacturer Two Holes Forwarding The Handle To The Show Will Shall Be Provided One At A Distance Of 65 Mm To 75 Mm From The Tip End Of The Socket The Axis Of Which Shall Be Approximately At The Right Angle To The Axis Of The Handle And Parallel To The Face Of The Blade And Second Hole At Approximately Right Angle To The First Hole At A Distance Of About 50 Mm From It Towards The Tip End Of The Socket The Shovel Shall Be Supplied Complete With Handles And The Handles Shall Confirm To Is 2897 Of 1965. The Wooden Handle Shall Be Driven Fully Into The Socket And Neatly Secured By Two Rivets. The Blade Shall Be Well Formed And Cleanly Made. They Shall Be Reasonably Free From Seems, Splits, Cracks And Other Defects. The Edges Shall Be Reasonably Smooth And Well Finished.
