| 3 | Norms and Limit for Power Factor The adequate power factor correction to be installed and to avoid the Leading and Lagging power factor to minimize KVAH to 1% limits as specified below as follows: 1. System shall instantaneously activate shall provide required reactive power once the load starts or respond to the load changes instantaneously. 2. System shall not generate any switiching transients and shall be soft switching type. 3. System shall aslo be capable to inject leading power through Neutral in order to balance the power factor and phase angle too and minimize KVAH at individual phase. |

| 7 | Technical Specification for MINISTATCOM System:(For Item No 1 and 2)a) Mini statcom system shall be of digitally controlled close loop system with 3 CT sensing for load and handle imnbalance and instataneous variations. Mini Statcom shall have high speed soft swtiching arrangement and capacity to withstand the stress oocuring during high speed switching and in turn have better reliability.Mini Statcom design shallbe very compact,energy efficeient to have minimum power loss.Mini Statcom shall respond for load variation very quickly several times and must have capacity to compensate leading power through neutral whenever imbalances occur in the system. |
