The HDPE pipe material should b as per IS (High Density Polyethylene pipes for Water Supply specification.) material grade PN-16 PE-100 confirming to IS: 4984/95 and 4954/2016 and the material grade shall be as specified in BOQ. The HDPE pipes and fitting shall be procured form the authorized manufacturer/Registered authorized dealer only and shall be got inspected by third party inspection agency M/S RITES Delhi/ EDLIPSE ENGINEERING GLOBAL PVT. LTD NOIDA or Authorized/Approved agency by GOI understanding norms. The inspection fee for third party inspection shall be paid by the contractor along the factory test certificate. The HDPE pipes and fittings procured through dealers/Stockiest will not be allowed to be used in JJM works. C. Laying and fitting of HDPE pipes should be as per IS 7634 (Part 2):2012.
