The job also includes carrying out required repairs of pipe defects occurred during transportation, handling, testing etc. Item also includes supply, cutting, welding of Mild Steel required size & thickness of pad plate on pipeline at each support as per specifications/drg. In case of product pipeline, the job also includes D.P. test of the weld joints root run& 10% radiography of welded product pipeline joints to be done. Item also includes painting of pipeline as perpainting specification provided in scope of work of tender documents.Note: a)Welding & installation of supplied elbows, bends, reducers, tees, spools etc. shall be in the scope of the contractor andpayment shall be made as per running meter of pipeline only. b) For the sizes of piping of 100 mm and below, direct stub connection shall be made on the headers with suitable pad plates and the rate quoted should include the same. c).All hot/cold work shall be carried out with all required safety precautions as per OISD with required work permit & providing required temp. GI sheet fire screen at welding area. Before start of work required protective equipment, DCP, running fire water hoses with nozzles, sand scoop etc. to be positioned at work site issued by Terminal & required trained manpower to be positioned to run the same in case of any emergency. |
