Battery Charger Repair Works At Various Locations On Mv Swaraj Dweep , gmdss batteries: , capacity test of 04 gmdss batteries of 200ah capacity to be carried out and test certificate to be provided . one number terminal connector in battery bank a is broken and to be replaced , satisfactory operation of the batteries to be proved post replacement of connectors . all materials required for providing of operation to be supplied by vendor . , overhauling of life boat battery charges & its batteries capacity test to be carried out . , lifeboat battery charger , make: defa power systems . after marking life boat number on all chargers , to be shifted from lifeboats to workshop for overhauling ( all consumable materials i . e indications , diodes , fuse , rotary switches etc . , ) and to keep in the respective position after repairs , capacity test of the 20 in nos of 60 ah capacity batteries to be carried out after removal of all 20 in nos of batteries from life boats by marking life boat number and to keep in the respective position after repairs . renewal of new batteries ( 5nos ) shall be supplied by ship . capacity test certificate of the batteries to be submitted and all batteries to be kept under charging at yard during life boat repair period , 640 nos fire detectors in various locations onboard to check for proper functioning . while checking functiong of all fire detectors onboard , defective detectors if any to renewed along with foundation base . consider renewal of 20 detectors with base . ( material - ship supply ) , life boat davit repairs , all life boat davits limit switches operations to be checked . defective switches ( 10 nos ) to be renewed . all the limit switch bases and brackets to be renewed . satisfactory operation of limit switches to be shown after completion of the repairs to hsl/shipstaff . , all 10 nos davit electrical cables of 60mtrs to be renewed . consider 3cx2 . 5 sq . mm marine approved cable for renewal . required material to be supplied by the contractor , davit cable conduit pipes ( g . i ) of 1 . 5inch dia for all life boat life boat hoisting switches and embarkation lights were damaged to be renewed . material to be supplied by the contractor , 5 nos of davit local junction boxes to be renewed with class approved junction boxes . material to be supplied by the contractor , battery charger units and batteries , battery charger unit to be overhauled which includes cleaning and connection tightness to be cheked . defective components i . e fuses , diodes , ics , rotary switches , meters , indication lamps etc . are to be renewed . complete material required for execution of sow is to be procured , supplied by the contractor only . pcbs inside the charger are to be repaired and any defective pcbs to be replaced by the contractor . to check the insulation values of the rectifier panels and any repair found to be repaired and defective components in rectifiers is to be procured , supplied by contractor . after completion of the job , satisfactory trials to be shown to hsl & shipstaff . , emergency lighting battery charger , emergency dc supply battery charger , emergency generator battery charger , capacity test of the 22 in nos of 180 ah capacity batteries are to be carried out and if any defective found to be replaced/renewed . new batteries shall be supplied by ship . capacity test certificate of the batteries to be submitted
