| 107 | 20.01 | The tenderer/firm shall provide proposal for automation of entire scheme upto junction points of all storage tanks and shall be automated in such a way that these are automattically operated at pre fixed hours/ time or any other logic decided by the department and operated from main SCADA centre at Main Pump house. The entire automation is to be carried out as per the technical data sheets for Electrical, Instrumentation and automation works Volume III in accordance with the technical specifications for automation attached in Volume II. Electromagnetic flow meters of approved makes shall be provided at each storage reservoir outlets and its output in the shape of total quantum of water delivered in a hour day and month shall be generated at main control station. GSM based devices shall be installed at MBR location, which shall send massages through SCADA station at remote access location at main pump house . This data transmission system at unit consists of field instruments for providing digital and analog signals to data transfer module. This module will have a communication to web data transfer system modle communication. The PLC station will have control station with programmable graphic process, mimics, real time and historical trending face plate and group display, alarm management and report with Laser Jet printers and required furniture. At each tank locations controlling devices shall be installed with water meter sensors, flow transmitters, level transmitters in each tank. Installation of hardware along with commissioning/ programming as per user requirement shall be done. The detailed automation proposal shall be got approved by the firm from PMU . Firm has to incorporate all the inputs and outputs suggested by the department in the SCADA. It includes fixing /repairing/leakage in structure, channel, pipe line, pumping machinery etc. & proper distribution of treated water and regular testing of water samples . Keeping regular and proper record of water quantity and quality, repair and maintenance work, chemical dosing and time and hours of run of pumping machinery, removal of all kind of slips, slush, uprooting of unwanted grass, shrubs, weeds etc growing near the structure and keeping the area neat and clean to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge. Planting and maintaining plants of the flowers/trees around the Water Treatment Plant /Storage tanks/ etc. to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge. It includes the cost of procurement of edequate and proper tools and plants, skilled & unskilled manpower, spare-parts, oil, grease, lubricants, chemicals and all kinds of regents required for water sample testing, refilling of gaseous cylinders including mechanical and head load carriage etc. and making standby arrangement all times, instruments, equipments, stationary and any other material etc. required for O& M excluding the cost of energy charges.
