Supply And Installation Of Lab Equipment ( One Bacterial Fermentor With Accessories ) For University School Of Biotechnology-Culture Vessel n(i) Double wall glass vessel with working volume maximum 5 litre or more, minimum working volume should be around 2 litre or less. Provision of interchangeable vessels (around 3 litre, around 10-15 litre) is required. Capable of batch, fed-batch and continuous processes. n(ii) Stainless steel stand to support the culture vessel n(iii) Impeller: 3 x 6 blade segment rushton impeller, Stirrer diameter: around 60 mm, n(iv) 1 x Ring sparger ( or micro sparger) or Suitable L Sparger Hose nozzle for hose connection, ID around 3-4 mm n(v) An adapter should be available to reduce the total height of the system during the autoclave n(vi) Stirrer shaft with single mechanical seal and direct coupling n(vii) Inlet/exhaust air filter (PTFE): Pore size 0.2 µm, Filter area not less than 20 cm², Autoclavable at least 20 times at 121 deg C n(viii) Temperature control: pt 100 with a range of 0-150 deg C (Temp. Control: 0-80 deg C or better) with accuracy 0.10 deg C n(ix) Motor with either Direct Drive or magnetic motor coupling : Maintenance free, top drive with speed range of around 50-1000 rpm or better nB Control Tower n(i) Touch screen display of around 7-14 n(ii) Process control parameters, measurement range and probes for: Temperature (around 0 deg C to 80 deg C with 0.1 deg C resolution), pH around (2- 12 pH with 0.01 pH resolution), DO (0-100% with 0.1% resolution), Foam, level and Redox sensor with a control range from -1000mV to +1000mV or higher. Standard fermenter probes/sensors from Hamilton or Mettler for pH and DO or from the fermentor manufacturers. n(iii) Additionally, if required same control tower can be used for single use / roking motion bioreactor ( With essential modification possibility ) n(iv) System should have automatic controls of pH, DO, temperature, Antifoam n(v) At least 3 Nos integrated Fast Load pump with fixed speed with 20 rpm or better(on/off control) and at least minimum 1 no external pump with variable speed that can operate as part of system and standalone mode to support continuous or Bolus addition. n(vi) Extra ports IO Board to input ancilliary equipment signal data inputs (0–10 V or 4-20 mA) for fermenter control panel such as exist gas, load cell or external pump n(vii) Should be facilitated with USB port, Ethernet n(viii) Same control tower can be configured for other vessels including rocking motion bioreactor or single use bioreactor. Minimal modification is allowed for that. nC Aeration Module n(i) Air and with O2 Enrichment with Gas Flow Ratio mixing using dedicated Mass Flow controller. Scope for the possible addition of at least one more additional gas with Rotameter Solenoid valve combo for N2, CO2 n(ii) Max. total flow: upto around 10 l/min, having accuracy ±5 % full scale nD Operating Software nSystem should be operated with SCADA sofware having facility of n(i) On-line and off-line sample data management, visualization, evaluation, n(ii) Expanded data recording and data archiving capabilities, n(iii) Alarm recording and transmission to multimedia devices and n(iv) Flexible device connection facility. n(v) Allow inputs external signals for integrated analysis nE Toolkit: Essential tool kit containing the various septum, O-rings, extra filters, extra DO membranes, electrolytes, standard buffer, needles etc nF Bottles: Reagent feed bottles for acid, base, antifoam and at least two feed bottle with the required number of connectors, two extra bottles for sample ports nG PC & Printer: Suitable barnded PC and branded color laser Printer with UPS nH Other Sensor - Quote as an optional items n(i) Dissolved CO2 sensor with a control range of 0 – 100% should be available as an option, n(ii) Balance substrate 6~10 kgmax. |1 g AND 50~100 kg max.|2g as an option. n(iii) Turbidity probe as an option n I Suitable Utilities n(i) Automatic Autoclave, Chiller, Air Compressor suitable for quoted Fermenter Vessel n(ii) 2 kVA UPS with at least 30 minute back up as an option nJ Special clauses n(i) At least five years of warranty (or combination of warranty and CMC) from date of completion of installation and sucessful demonstration. n(ii) The list of users (industry and institutes) has to be submitted along with tender n(iii) Should have installation of more than 25 nos of same/similar models in last 5 years nK Important Note n(i) All specs must be supported with printed brochure/data sheet n(ii) Company annual turnover (INR): 250 lakhs n 1 each
