Certain Repair And Maintenance Of Roads And Its Connected Items Under Ge South Mamun At Mil Stn -1 M&L for Repair to potholes depth of potholes exc 30 mm , not exc 1 sq m each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths, etc. cutting around edges to at least 25 mm in depth, making good by applying tack coat @ 5 kg per 10 sq m, putting in premixed bituminous macadam, well rammed and sealed with binder 9.8 kg per 10 sq m, blinded with 0.09 cum of stone chippings, 6.3 mm size and again well rammed (including supply of premixed macadam, binder and chippings complete all as specified and directed.nNote : The patching of pot hole shall be carried out all as given in clause 20.A.34.2 of SSR Part-I (2009). 2 M&L for Preparation of existing black top surfaces of road by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the surfaces by mechanical compressor to remove all loose dirt and applying evenly a priming/tack coat with paving bitumen VG 10 grade @ 5 Kg per 10Sqm of road surface and laying bituminous premixed semi dense asphaltic concrete 30mm thick (consolidated thickness) using binder (Bitumen VG-30 grade) contents @ 5.5 % by weight of total mix, mixed in Hot mix Plant and laid by using self propelled mechanical paver, rolled and compacted to required camber & gradient using 8 to 10 tonne power roller/tandem vibrating roller to achieve uniform smooth surface complete all as specified and directed.nNote :- n(i) The actual binder content for SDAC used shall be as per optimised content based on approved job mix formula irrespective of what ever indicated in BOQ. n(ii) Price adjustment shall be done on MINUS side only @ Rs. 46900/- per MT (without considering the permissible tolerance on minus side) with reference to binder content indicated in BOQ. n(iii) No Price adjustment for Bitumen shall be done for variation on plus side. 3 M&L for Plain Cement concrete (1:2:4) type B-1 (using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregates) as in kerbs or mud stops, rounded or chamfered on edges complete all as specified and directed. 4 Surface excavation n.exc (not exceeding) 30 cm deep and averaging 15cm deep and getting out in hard/dense soil complete all as specified and directed. 5 Removing excavation material to a distance not exc. 50m & deposited where directed at a level n exc. 1.5m above the starting point complete all as specified and directed. 6 M&L for Moorum/red bajri for filling in floor or pavings or road side berms each layer not exc 15cm thick spread, levelled and rolled including watering, complete all as specified and directed. n( Note: Compacted / Consolidated thickness shall be measured & paid) 7 M&L for 80mm thick factory made rubberised coloured (laminated) interlocking paver block (using vibro compaction method) (topping thickness not less than 5mm) in white cement and non fadable glossy pigment of approved shade of any shape and size conforming to IS-15658-2006 of M-40 grade laid over & including cleaned dry sand cushion 50mm thick over and including 75mm thick PCC 1:4:8 type D-2 (using 40mm graded crushed stone aggregate) including demolition of damaged cement concrete of any type or description and removal of debris out off the premises etc complete all as specified and directed. 8 S&F sand stone kerb of roughly squared stones of size 15cm x 30cm, dressed so that the maximum depression from a straight edge held against the dressed surface shall not exceed 6mm for top and exposed surfaces of sides and 20mm for the rest of surfaces jointed in cement mortar 1:6 and struck flush including necessary excavation and earthwork etc, complete all as specified and directed. 9 M&L for road line painting upto 150mm wide with golden/yellow/white thermostatic compound with reflectorised glass beads on road providing and laying of hot applied thermostatic compound 2.0mm thick including reflectorised glass beads @ 250 gm per sqm area, thickness of 2mm is exclusive of surface applied glass beads as per IRC 35, including cleaning of old road marking paint, the finshed surface to be levelled, uniform and free streaks and holes in addition where arrows of letters are to be provided thermostatics compound should be machine sprayed and the colour of compound, complete all as specified and directed.nMake: Asian/STP Ltd/Automat/3M.
