Consultancy for structural audit and preparation of BOQ for 1082 SM Barrack at SGNR Mil Station (through NIT/NITTTR Chandigarh or equivalent Engineering institutes) by carrying out visual/NDT/destructive testing for the buildings to ascertain the structural analysis of the bldgs. Recommendation of rehabilitation works required for structural stability of the bldgs including detailed methodology by working out cost of rehabilitaton methods including submission of details BOQ to include detailed breakdown of qty worked out for rehabilitation of each building for taking up special repair wks. Submission of complete report in setuplicate copy alongwith soft copy. Final assessment report duly vetterd by the concerned engineering institute. The works involves following activities:- (a) Site visit, preparation & submission of visual inspection report. (b) Adequate/Required number of non destructive/destrucive tests on concerned structure. Preparation and submission of non destructive/destructive test report as per reqmt:- (i) Ultrasound pulse velocity tests for establishing the intergrity and soundness of concrete (Ref IS : 13311-PART 1) (ii) Schmidt rebound hammer tests for determining the concrete compressive strength (ref IS 13311- part 2) (iii) Assessment of probability of carbonation present in concrete (BS 1881-201 1986 clause 2.22) (iv) Half cell potential tests for assessing extent of corrosion on the reinforecement (ASTM C 978 : 1991) (v) Taking out concrete cores (Approx 70mm dia) preparing speciment for lab testing, performing lab test for compressive strength and density (Ref IS 456-2000 & IS 516-1959 ( reaffirmed in 2013) (c) Suggestion and remedial measures, preparation and submission of detailed estimates, BOQ & specification for repair and strengthening scheme. Note: Mobilisation and other misc expenses will be included in above cost and shall not be paid seperately.
