    Tender Details

    Tender For Wrapping &Amp; Coating Of Fire Water Line At Uran Lpg Terminaluran Lpg Plant Is Having Wide Network Of Fire Water Pipe Lines And Lpg Pipelines For Plt Receipt, Tank Lorry Filling, Tank Wagon Filling, Carousel Filling Etc. As Per The Hsse Guidelines, The Wrapping And Coating Of The Underground Fire Water Lines Needs To Be Done Until The Height Of The Line Is 100 Mm Above Ground. The Material To Be Used Is A Coal Tar Tape Coating Conforming To Awwa C-203 ( 1991 ) . During Visual Inspection Of The Fire Water Pipe Line Network, It Was Observed That A Few Lines Violated This Rule. In Addition, The Coating Has Peeled Off Due To Moisture Ingestion On The Main Header Line And A Few Other Places. The Area To Be Wrapped And Coated Was Calculated And Came Out To Be Approximately 200 Sq Meters. In Order To Apply The Coating Effectively, Excavation Of The Ground Needs To Be Done; And Needs To Be Back Filled And Levelled After The Subject Job Is Finished.
