Twice A Year (As Per The Schedule Given By Hpcl Oic) &Submitting Reports In Duplicate To Hpcl Officer In-Charge, Twice A Year Preferably Once In Summer And Once In Winter. Necessary Instruments & Manpower To Be Brought By The Party With Valid Calibration Certificate. There Should Be Full Earthing Continuity Between Bodies Of The Equipment & Earth Pit, Resistance Should Be Less Than 1 Ohm. If More, Corrective Action To Be Taken By The Contractor To Rectify The Earth Pits. Checking The Electrode Resistance, I.E., The Resistances Of The Grounding Pipe Itself, After Disconnecting With The Grid. Checking The Resistance Of The System In Grid. Rectification Of Earth Pit Like Tightening/Cleaning Of Bolts & Connections & Filling The Pit With Salt & Charcoal To Bring The Resistance To Specified Range & Paste Value & Due Dates, Tested Date Details On The Board Of Individual Earth Pits. If Required Changing Of Display Boards To Be Done, Etc.
