Supply Of Gps Devices And Tablets For Capturing The Data Through Surveys ( Survey To Be Done By Hescom Staff ) Training The Hescom Staff On The Usage Of The Equipment For Survey. The Successful Bidder Will Design A Form / Application That Will Allow Data Capture. This Mobile Application Will Be Shared With Hescom, So That It Can Be Installed On Other Devices As Required. Hescom Staff Will Capture The Data Using The Gps Device. The Data Will Be Uploaded On The Fly To A Central Server Hosted By The Bidder Via A 3G Connection On The Tab. This Is To Ensure That Minimum Time Is Spent On Consolidating Information. This Will Also Help To Centrally Monitor The Pace Of Survey In The Field. The Successful Bidder Has To Establish Such A Data Sharing Mechanism. Hosting The Software Required For Gathering Data From The Gps Devices. The Bidder Will Also Be Responsible For Procuring Sim Cards On Behalf Of Hescom For Use In Each Of The Tabs. Hescom Will Provide The Consumer Application Form ( Caf ) For Procurement Of Sim Cards. The Sim Cards Should Support 3G, And Should Have 1 Gb Data Limit Per Month. This Is For A Maximum Period Of 6 Months, Starting From The Beginning Of 2Nd Month. The Sim Cards Should Not Allow Voice Calls. The Bidder Will Also Regularly Monitor 3G Internet Usage, Inorder To Flag The Same To The Concerned Division Executive Engineer. Bidders Should Not Charge For Sim Card. Monthly Data Charges Will Be Borne By The Bidder For A Period Of 6 Months. Indicating The Ip Sets On A Web Based Ogc ( Open Geospatial Consortium ) Compliant Software Application. Creation Of Hescom Office Hierarchy In The Application. Allowing Hescom Employees Access To Mapped Ip Sets And Features To View , Update, Electrical Installation The Information Based On Their Roles. Marking Of The Ip Sets Authorized, Unauthorized Using Different Colour Codes. Generation Of Mis Reports As Per The Formats. Completion Of Implementation Of The Web Based Software Within 7 Months From The Date Of Loi. Support And Maintenance For A Period Of 18 Months. Have Provision For Hescom Users To Continuously Update The Ip Set Information. The Successful Bidder Will Have To Procure 24 Tablets, 24 Gis Instruments As Per The Specifications Annexed In Annexure 5. All The Hardware Will Be Supplied To The Office Of The Divisional Executive Engineer. Product Brochures, Catalogues, Technical Literature, System Or Reference Manuals, Instruction Booklets, Supporting Documentation, Installation And User Manuals For All The Hardware Should Be Supplied Along With The Equipment. Compatible Software Required To Be Able To Use The Hardware As Per Requirements Of The Scope Of Work Should Also Be Supplied By The Successful Bidder. The Bidder Shall Configure The Software Such That It Can Be Used By Officers In All The Divisions Of Hescom. All The User Credentials, Hierarchies, Reports Will Be Configured For Use By Entire Hescom. This Will Allow Hescom The Flexibility To Use The Software Across All Divisions And View Centrally All The Information. The Bidder Warrants That The Hardware Supplied Under The Contract Are New, Unused, Of The Most Recent Or Current Models And That They Incorporate All Recent Improvements In Design And Materials. The Vendor Further Warrants That All Goods Supplied Under This Contract Shall Have No Defect, Arising From Design, Materials Or Workmanship Or From Any Act Or Omission Of The Vendor That May Develop Under Normal Use Of The Supplied Goods In The Conditions Prevailing In India. In Duration Of The Warranty Period, If Any Hardware Or Parts Of The Hardware Face Some Technical Issue, The Vendor Shall Replace The Unit Of Component With Another Of At Least The Same Performance And Quality, At No Cost To The Hescom. In Case Of Hardware Or Components Replacement, The Vendor Shall Provide Similar Standby Equipment For The Time Being, So That The Equipment Can Be Put To Use In The Absence Of The Originals Or Replacements Without Disrupting The Hescom Regular Work.
