Expression of Interest for Environment Support Closing Date: 15 May 2025 Type: Consultancy As part of the Learning and Innovating in the Face of Crises (APIC) project, funded by AFD, the Monegasque Cooperation, the Fondation de France and the Rhône-Alpes Region, Groupe URD has the opportunity to support organisations in the solidarity sector in their internal improvement initiatives , in connection with environmental issues. This support is not a service provision or outsourcing but is intended to support an initiative led by the organisation to which Groupe URD can contribute via methodological, technical or strategic support . In addition, it is important to mention that this support does not generate any financial cost for the organization that benefits from it. Historically, this support proposal concerned the issues of quality and accountability. However, in view of the growing interest of international solidarity organisations in the challenges of reducing their environmental footprint and given Groupe URDs expertise in this field, it has been decided to open up the support modality to this new theme. Thus, and by way of example, this support can support the animation of the reflection on the ecological transition, the development/revision of an internal policy, the development of dedicated tools, the calculation or monitoring of carbon footprints, the development of an environmental action plan, etc. It is recommended to target the subject of support and to limit the number of projects to facilitate the achievement of results. For this support, Groupe URD will provide a resource person for a maximum of 12 days, subject to compliance with the following 3 criteria: 1. Mutual cooperation the organisation identifies a person who plays the role of focal point throughout the support phase and who works with Groupe URDs resource person for an equivalent number of days of involvement; 2. Formal cooperation A partnership agreement is signed to specify expectations; 3. Public cooperation The results or lessons of this cooperation are shared with other organisations in the sector to facilitate collective learning . The support must take place over a maximum period of 6 months. The implementation dates are flexible: the support can start on 15 June 2025 at the earliest and must be completed by 31 August 2026 at the latest. Selection criteria: The request for support must be submitted by an organisation in the solidarity sector. Organizations from the Global South are particularly encouraged to apply.
