Background Community And Voluntary Support Conwy (Cvsc) Is Seeking To Commission A Suitably Experienced Consultant To Undertake A Focused Asset Mapping Exercise Of Community Transport Provision Delivered By The Third Sector Across The County Borough Of Conwy. Community Transport Is A Vital Service In This Predominantly Rural Area, Often Acting As A Lifeline For People Who Are Socially Isolated Or Lack Access To Public Or Private Transport. This Project Aims To Build A Clear And Up-To-Date Picture Of What Community Transport Exists, Where Gaps Lie, The Implications Of Legislation And Regulation, And Where Unmet Need May Justify Investment In Additional Provision. The Findings Will Support Cvsc In Influencing Policy And Practice, And In Identifying Funding Opportunities To Strengthen And Expand Community Transport In The Area.
