All supporting documentation should be labelled and grouped together (individual envelopes, stapled etc), and then included in a single sealed envelope as per the above. Objectives: 1. Produce 300 tons of high-quality wooden pallets for vulnerable communities as part of the emergency response, ensuring timely output and adherence to quality standards. 2. Engage up to 150 participants in theoretical and practical training to acquire the concept of the production with hands-on experience by involving them in the production of wooden pallets, allowing them to apply their newly acquired wooden pallets production skills. 3. Ensure every participant works at the factory for 40 days. 4. Ensure the factory takes on the trained participants as part of the cash-for-work program, making it a key eligibility criterion for this partnership. Responsibilities and deliverables: Provision of Materials and Equipment: · Ensure that all necessary wooden pallets materials, fabrics, and equipment are available and maintained for participants to complete their tasks. Training and Cash for Work: · Provide a safe and inclusive workspace for up to 150 participants. · Train up to 150 participants to acquire the production skills and transition to cash for work accordingly. · Ensure every participant works at the factory for 40 days of cash for work. · Ensure that the period of cash for work is completed by August 2025. Production of Wooden Pallets: · Engage participants in producing the wooden pallets · Ensure the quality of production meets project standards and that the final items are appropriate for distribution to vulnerable groups.
