Sludge feed pump Specification: * Supply spare Prim. sludge feed pump Primary Sludge feed pump, bare shaft: The pump shall comply with Clause D46 of the Standard Specification for Mechanical Works The pump shall be suited to handle sludge containing solids, fibrous matter, and grit. All universals, pins and bushes operating in the pump liquid must be fully sealed and properly lubricated. The bare shaft pump must be able to attach to the existing motor gearbox without modification of the existing motor gearbox. The pump and drive must be mounted on a common baseplate. The pump shall maintain the drive ratings, namely continuously rated output of the motor shall exceed the power required at maximum duty and at the worst operating condition by not less than 30 %. The gear unit shall have a service factor of not less than 2, based on the installed motor power. The pump shall accept the existing dry run protection device that measures the stator temperature at the surface of the stator and be compatible with the calibration of the dry run protection device. The pump shall have a flow range of 10m^3/h to 31m^3/h, capable of a differential pressure of 3 bar.
