Tenders are invited for Development and Implementation Abu Dhabi Environment Digital Twin [Phase-1] Public Tender Announcement: - Scope Brief: Development and Implementation of Abu Dhabis Environmental Digital Twin - [Phase 1: Focus on Air Quality Data]: The First Phase of the Development and Implementation of Abu Dhabis Environmental Digital Twin Focuses Specifically on Air Quality Data, a Key Step in Building a Comprehensive Digital Model that Reflects the Emirates Environmental Status. The Digital Twin is an Advanced Technology that Aims to Simulate Physical Reality in a Virtual Environment, Enabling Accurate Monitoring and Analysis of Environmental Factors in Real Time. This Phase Focuses on Collecting and Integrating Air Quality Data Using Advanced Sensors and Internet of Things Technologies to Provide an Accurate Picture of Pollution Levels, Fine Particulate Matter Concentrations (Such as pm2.5 and pm10), and Gases Such as Carbon Dioxide and Nitrogen Oxides. Through this Initiative, the Environment Agency - Abu Dhabi Seeks to Enhance Environmental Sustainability Efforts, as Tracking Air Quality is a Key Priority for Ensuring the Health of Residents and Protecting Ecosystems. The Development Process in this Phase Includes Designing a Digital Infrastructure Capable of Processing Big Data, as Well as Establishing the Foundations for Predictive Models that can Help Address Challenges Such as Pollution Resulting from Industrial Activities or Climate Change. This Phase Represents the Beginning of a Long Journey Aimed at Achieving Abu Dhabis Environmental Vision 2030, by Providing an Innovative Tool for Data-Driven Decision-Making, Which will Later be Expanded to Include Other Environmental Elements Such as Water and Biodiversity in Future Phases.
