The Nuclear Facility Large Hot Cells (Ghz) By The Jülicher Disposal Society For Nuclear Anlagen Mbh (Jen) Is Located In The South-West Of North Rhine-Westphalia In Jülich. This Nuclear System Was Put Into Operation In 1968 And Contains Two Rows Of Cells That Are Designed As Hot Cells And Allow The Remote Control Of Radioactive Substances For The Purpose Of Physical, Chemical And Technological Examinations. In Particular, The Cells Were Used For Examinations On Irradiated Fuel Elements And Fuel Samples And Attempts To Process Irradiated Nuclear Fabrics And The Repair And Conditioning Of Reactor Parts Were Carried Out In Them. After More Than 50 Years Of Operation, The Scientific And Operational Operation Of The Ghz Is Stopped At The End Of 2018.
