The Development Of Whistler Retrofit Strategy Presents An Opportunity To Ensure There Is An Ambitious Pathway That Outlines The Actions Needed To Support A Rapid Uptake In Building Retrofits Necessary To Meet Whistler’S Goal To Reduce Greenhouse Gas Emissions From Residential Buildings By 20% And Commercial Buildings By 40% By 2030.The Purpose Of The Whistler Retrofit Strategy Will Be To:Improve Upon Baseline Building Data And Undertake Analysis That Provides More Detailed Direction On How To Scale Whistler’S Current Initiatives As Well As Any Additional Measures That May Be Required.Ensure That Current And Planned Actions Related To Big Move 5 Are Sufficient To Meet Whistler’ Big Move 5 Goals And Identify Any Necessary Amendments, Acceleration Or Additional Actions.Prioritize Actions That Have The Highest Impact And Identify Resources Required For Implementation.The Rmow Is Now Requesting Quotations For Consulting Services To Conduct The Initial Research, Modelling And Engagement Necessary To Develop The Whistler Retrofit Strategy.
