Teleconferencing Services . A) Project Background- Currently, The Province Operates News Conferences But Uses A Third Party Service To Provide Teleconferencing Support. This Support Includes The Ability To Brief The Teleconference Operator On The Structure Of The News Conference, Determine How The Questions Will Be Taken, Allow The News Conference Moderator To Open The Floor To Questions From Callers, Allow Journalists To Dial In With The Ability To Listen As Well As To Enter A Question Into The Queue To Ask Questions Of The Speaker(S), And Provide An Online Platform For The Province To Monitor The Call And/Or Callers. In Terms Of Frequency, The Province Can Hold Multiple News Conferences Per Day (Several Per Week). Teleconferences With Media Typically Involve 10-30 Callers And Last About One Hour. B) Project Objectives- To Provide Scalable Teleconference Services To The Province That Allows Communication With Media And/Or Stakeholders Via Teleconference Supported News Conferences, Media/Stakeholder Briefings Or Directly Via Teleconference, In A Manner That Allows Media And Stakeholders To Listen To News Conferences And To Ask Questions Of The Participants Over The Phone.
