Expression of Interest are invited for Project Coordination and Sign Language Support under Signs of Success Project. SCOPE OF THE ASSIGNMENT GIZ Ghana seeks to engage a consultancy with the requisite expertise and experience to undertake this assignment which involves the following: Coordinate (in collaboration with the relevant national association), the recruitment of deaf associates for training and employment under the project Prepare and facilitate two (2) awareness creation seminars for staff of the garment factory to facilitate effective collaboration with PWD and enhance the general work environment Support with organizing and procuring all logistics required for the successful recruitment, onboarding, accommodation, transportation and training of deaf associates. Regularly monitor and report on the progress of trainees in accordance with deadlines. Coordinate all the stakeholders for the successful preparation and organization of project meetings and stakeholder sessions Plan and prioritize work duties in lien with the pace of the project activities and stakeholder expectations, working competently under pressure and with tight deadlines. Inclusion in Ghanas Garment Manufacturing Industry The projects objective is to enhance the inclusion of deaf persons within Ghanas garment manufacturing sector by supporting the establishment of a training programme for deaf persons, leading to the creation of up to 200 decent jobs in the local garment manufacturing industry.
