Request for proposals for Shelter and Settlement Services. Projects type: Rehabilitation works for partially damaged apartments, schools, maintain WASH facilities and Shelter Room (collective) Rehabilitation of the sewage, clean water networks, irrigation channel and boreholes Supply and install solar street light Important Information regarding this RFP: This procurement is split in two stages. The first stage is this current RFP which will evaluate potential suppliers administrative and technical capabilities. The attached Shelter Master BoQ list (Annex A) is only enclosed to clarify the nature of the services that DRC might request. As a results of this RFP, DRC will sign framework agreements with awarded suppliers. In the second stage, the awarded suppliers will receive requests for quotations, including actual quantities and BoQs with accurate delivery dates and areas of intervention to provide technical and financial offers. The lowest financial offer that meets the technical requirements will be contracted via a purchase order/ works contract. A framework agreement is not binding DRC to place any Purchase Orders/ works contract. Purchase Orders will be issued by DRC following the awarding of a supplier in the second stage, in accordance with DRCs requirements and after financial evaluation. No advance payment will be paid to the awarded suppliers. The awarded suppliers are expected to mobilize their own resources to deliver the agreed materials/ service. DRC have the right to sign framework agreements with several suppliers. DRC may choose to cancel the agreement if deemed necessary DRC may terminate the contract or impose penalties if supplier fails to deliver items within specified period. This tender is international RFP, any international bidder should have an agent in Syria and an active bank in local currency (SYP). When Bids are emailed the following conditions shall be complied with: The RFP number shall be inserted in the Subject Heading of the email Bid documents required, shall be included as an attachment to the email in PDF, JPEG, TIF format, or the same type of files provided as a ZIP file. Documents in MS Word or excel formats, will result in the bid being disqualified. Email attachments shall not exceed 4MB; otherwise the bidder shall send his bid in multiple emails. Failure to comply with the above may disqualify the Bid. DRC is not responsible for the failure of the Internet, network, server, or any other hardware, or software, used by either the Bidder or DRC in the processing of emails.
