The Government Launched A Business Plan For Norwegian Marine Areas In June 2024. The Aim Of The Plan Is To Facilitate A Comprehensive Development Of Existing And New Marine Industries, And To Support Employment And The Largest Possible Overall Value Creation Within The Sustainable Framework. The Business Plan Focuses In Particular On Land Use By Sea And Coexistence. In The Business Plan For The Marine Areas, The Government Has Established Ten Overall Principles For Land Use At Sea. One Of The Principles Is About Securing The Collection And Sharing Of Relevant Data. We Want To Investigate The Potential For Business Players Who Are Allocated Land Or Permission For Some Form Of Offshore Activity Can Contribute Data That Increases The Knowledge Of The Sea And Activity At Sea. This As Part Of Their Licence To Operate, And That Is Also Data Beyond What May Be Necessary For The Sake Of Follow -Up That The Individual Industry Player Operates Within The Requirements That Follow From The Regulations And Terms Of The Permits. The Study Will Also Look At Barriers To The Collection And Division Of Data From Public Authorities.
