The Queensland Government Is Seeking Proposal To Procure Non-Governmental Organisation(S) (Ngos) To Deliver Early Psychosis Psychosocial Supports (Epps) For Adolescents And Young People (Aged 12-25 Years) Who Are Likely To Be Experiencing Psychosis For The First Time. The New Epps Will Be Based In The Hospital And Health Service (Hhs) Regions Where Specialist Early Psychosis Services Are Delivered Including Cairns And Hinterland, Central Queensland, Darling Downs, Gold Coast, Mackay, Metro North, Metro South, Sunshine Coast, Townsville, West Moreton And Wide Bay.The Epps Will Augment Clinical Treatment Offered By Hhs And Aims To Build And Support Functional Recovery And Help Adolescents And Young People Improve Their Mental Health, Build Confidence, Contribute To Their Personal, Social And Emotional Wellbeing, Manage Day-To-Day Living And Start Or Re-Engage With Education And/Or Employment. Service Agreements Will Initially Be Negotiated For Three Years To 2027-28 With The Option To Extend For A Further Two Years To 30 June 2030.
