In Accordance With The Building Act 2011, The Town Is Required To Accept And Consider All Applications For Building Permits, Including The Assessment, And Issuing Of Certificates Of Design Compliance For Uncertified Application For Building Permits. To Fulfil This Obligation The Town Engages A Single Building Surveyor. However, This Creates Periods Of Absence, Primarily During Annual Leave By The Town’S Building Surveyor.The Town Is Accordingly Seeking Quotes To Provide External Consultancy Services On An As-Needed Basis For A Period Of 2 (Two) Years, With 3, One-Year Options To Extend. The Contract Will Primarily Cover Periods Of Leave, And Potentially Any Instances Of Increased Workload. Additionally, Enquiries Above The Level Of Existing Staff (Including During Periods Of Leave-Coverage) Or Requiring A Second Opinion May Also Be Referred To The Successful Respondent.
