Cook Shire Council (The Principal) Is Inviting Submissions From A Variety Of Suitably Experienced, Qualified And Licensed Trade Persons And Businesses In Order To Establish A Register Of Prequalified Suppliers (Rops) For The Provision Of Trade Services. The Rops Will Be Utilised For Minor Works, Maintenance And Repair Work, Construction And Major Projects For All Council Facilities And Assets.The Purpose Of Establishing This Rops For Trade Services Is To Achieve Efficiencies In Administrative Processes Associated With A High Volume Of Trade And Purchasing Requirements, Enabling The Principal’S Officers To Meet Operational Needs By Engaging Suitable Trade Services Directly From The Rops.The Principal May Appoint Any Number Of Suppliers Under Various Categories To This Rops. Appointment To The Rops Does Not Obligate The Principal To Engage Any Trade Services And Does Not Guarantee Any Work.
